Hospital Visitation

Lucas’s POV

I sat at the dining area, my mind replaying the moment in Alex’s office, the corners of my mouth tugging upward without me even noticing.

He is a jerk! He needs to learn. His pickup lines suck. Coming to China because of me! Absurd!

“Master Jun, you have been smiling and rubbing the cup of juice for more than thirty minutes. Has any omega caught your eye recently?” The head of the maids said, her voice pulling me back, and only then did I notice my fingers circling the glass rim endlessly.

What the hell is wrong with me?

Thinking about that jerk all of a sudden?

I must be losing my mind.

What if it’s the omega side effect?

Oh, get a grip. I am an alpha.

“Hell no, you are getting it all wrong. No one caught my eyes. Get to work.” I snapped in a haste and headed to my room.

I rested on my bed, and boom, the video call replayed in my head, him touching himself while I stepped out of the bathroom, his breaths heavy through the screen.

I was curious to know how large it is?

Fuck me!

My palm stung as I slapped my own face. I need to knock out those silly thoughts from my head.

Immediately my phone rang. My heart raced as I snatched it up, answering before I could think, but then I forced my voice back to its usual cool tone while talking to Alex.

It turned out he was drunk and he needed my help.

I told myself the reason I am going to help him out it’s all because of the business deal.

I think I need to visit the hospital tomorrow. I shouldn’t have cancelled the appointment if I had known I would end up thinking this way because of my omega instinct letting loose.

I can’t believe this is me in Alex’s home helping him to his bedroom.

How did we get here?

Wow, his home is huge as well, and it’s expected from a rich heir like him.

That jerk made me feel his dick with my hands.

Why am I loving it?

My fingers tingled from the warmth, the firmness, even as I cursed him under my breath.

He is a jerk and a player. He is probably doing this because he is drunk.

I slapped him hard, the crack echoing in the room, but he didn’t even flinch or yell. Instead, he looks aroused just like those days in school, his breath quickening.

What’s his deal?

Accepting to please him, I can’t believe I agreed to it. I ended up telling myself it’s for the business deal and I just have to take advantage of it till I get it.

My eyes widened, nearly popping out. It wasn’t just large but it beat my expectations, thick veins pulsing under my touch. Sucking it like my favourite lollipop and he was my first.

My omega instinct was already kicking in while pleasing him, my body heating up, slick gathering as I moved my hand, and when he requested to have me, I left in a hurry warning him not to follow me or stop me.

I drove home at high speed, tires screeching around corners, rushing to my bedroom and locking the door behind me with a slam.

“I’m sorry cutie, I got carried away.” His text popped up.

I left it unread.

Trying so hard to sleep, I tossed under the sheets, my skin flushing hot as visions of him pinning me down flooded my mind, my omega pheromones thickening the air like sweet, heavy fog. It was dangerous for me, but luckily for me, everyone working for me are all betas.

The next morning I woke up, my sheets damp and twisted, face pale in the mirror. I had another wet dream about him again.

The maids were already in my room as usual to prepare my bath, and the routine continued.

I had no idea how my mom found out I would be meeting with doctor Yulia, the mother of my betrothed named Qing today, but on a second note, they are best of friends so she must have sold me out.

“Doctor, is it possible for my mom to wait outside?” I added with a brief smile.

She turned to my mother who was already rebelling, her arms crossing tightly over her chest.

“Don’t bother Yulia, I won’t step out. I was already guiding you before you started talking as an infant, so I have every right to be here.”

She has a point. She is the founder of this lie I was born to live, all because she doesn’t want to lose her place in dad’s life.

I just have to keep Alex drama out of it so things don’t get messy.

“Is there any new developed formula to hide my omega self?” I questioned Doctor Yulia.

“Why son? Are you unable to hide it?” Mom said to me without even letting the doctor say a word.

“Mom please stop being dramatic already.”

“Ruo please.” The doctor said to her, and mom frowned while letting go of my hands, her fingers unclenching slowly.

“Thank you. As for your question son, we are still developing some formula but I would love to ask if there are any issues with the suppressant you have been taking.”

“Well the omega scent kicks in most times even after taking the pills, and you know the trouble if one finds out.”

“Lucas you mean—” mom was about to say something when the doctor and I glared at her, she retreated slowly, sinking back into her chair.

“If I may ask, did you meet with any S-class top tier Alpha?”

I can’t lie to her but at the same time I can lie right?

Oh gosh, I shouldn’t have brought this up.

“Well you know I have been meeting alphas regularly for business deals and nothing like this ever happened. The dose that gives me the Alpha strong smell seems to fade off, so I really don’t know why.” I replied, hiding the whole truth so perfectly, my voice steady even as my pulse quickened.

“This is the period for Omega to be in heat and on rare occasions, if you are intimately close their pheromones will be strong enough to expose you and will want to mark you as theirs.”

“I HAVEN’T BEEN INTIMATELY CLOSE WITH ANY ALPHA.” I responded in a haste.

“I see, then you have to be extra careful for now. The formula I am working on will be ready for testing in two weeks but I will give you a dose of injection that can suppress the whole thing and activate the A-class alpha in you then you continue applying the A class alpha lotion and taking those doses too while I try to speed up the formula.”

“Sure.”

She led me to a private room at the back of her office, the door clicking shut behind us with a sterile echo. Mom stayed out, thankfully probably gossiping with her other friends over the phone.

Doctor Yulia pulled out a vial labeled “Veilshadow Serum,” that fancy name for the omega-suppressing dose she’d cooked up in her lab.

I rolled up my sleeve, exposing my arm. As she swabbed the skin and slid the needle in, a cool rush flooded my veins, like icy fog wrapping around my inner omega aura, dimming it, smothering the heat that had been clawing at me since Alex. My body tingled, a faint hum vibrating through my muscles, the alpha facade strengthening as the serum’s ethereal grip tightened, sealing away those damn instincts. It felt… powerful, like I’d armored up against the world—or at least against one S-class jerk….. Alex!!

A few moments later we were done, and as I flexed my hand, feeling the subtle shift in my pheromones settling into nothing but alpha steel, I told myself: Alex won’t be able to get me again. No more slipping, no more heat pulling me under.

I allowed the two ladies to communicate while I was scrolling my phone. Once the business deal clicks, I will keep my distance so he doesn’t ruin my future.

Alex suddenly sent a video to me, the corners of my mouth lifting in a curious smile as I tapped to see the details. I clicked d******d when mom got my attention.

“So Lucas, we think it’s high time you start attending dates with Qing,she is returning to town today so we can plan the wedding and—”

The video sound interrupted my mom and I froze, “Yes… fuck… ahh… hah… haaa… oh god, deeper… mmmph!” A sex video, moans blaring from the speakers like a p**n star’s crescendo, wet slaps and gasps filling the room, and I quickly hurled the phone away in panic, my A-class alpha strength sending it smashing against the wall with a sharp crack, the screen shattering into a web of cracks on impact. Mom’s face went ghost-white, her mouth gaping like a fish out of water, eyes bulging in shock, while Doctor Yulia’s cheeks flushed crimson, her professional mask cracking as she averted her gaze, coughing awkwardly into her fist. Damn you Alex!!
