Voluntary Overtime

Meeting after meeting, the day seemed like it would never end. Favian was coming back tomorrow, but Richard wished it was today instead. He sat on his bum for so long and barely managed to squeeze in a bathroom break, missing lunch entirely. The coffee he had grabbed since morning had long gone cold and sour on his desk by the time the last meeting concluded at four.

The grumpy CEO sat down in his executive chair for the first time since morning and sighed.
