CHAPTER -4

Knox P. O. V

I am standing in front of my mirror in my three piece suit. Checking if everything is right or not.

Juliana burst into the room.

"Damn brother , for whom are you so dressed up?".

Juliana always wanted to ship me and Rebecca. But that's not happening. I only wanted my mate.

" Let's go baby sister, we are getting late for our own party". Her nose scrunched up . Whenever I call her baby sister she gives me that reaction. It's cute to look at her like that.

"You know I am only two minutes younger than you" She said while showing two fingers in front of my face. I playfully bite her fingers.

"Yuk gross" She rubs her fingers on my suit jacket.

"Where are you both? Ah there you are. Come down stairs both of you. Guests are about to start coming. Hurry up"mom said this from the doorway of my room.

" We are coming " I sought.

"Let's go baby sister, we are going to be late'' .She only groaned in response and stormed out of my room. I silently laugh behind her.

I connect both of our arms and descend the stairs . The announcer announced our arrival first starting with our parents then us.

" Alpha Julius and Luna Victoria ".

Mom and dad enter the hall.

" Future Alpha Alpha Xnox and Juliana ".

Everyone bowed their heads in respect.

" Rise . Everyone please enjoy yourself " Dad said.

Everyone starts mingling. Pack members, other alpha and luna came to congratulate us for our birthday. Everything was perfect but didn't know every perfect thing did not last.

Soon everyone gathered for cake cutting in the center of the hall.

Juliana and I were about to cut the cake when a sound of firing of bullets was heard in the air from outside.

Dad's beta came and said"Sir we are under attack by the hunters.They have surrounded the pack house".

Dad's and mom's facial expressions change from happy to anxiety and fear.

"WARRIORS READY FOR ATTACK.GROUP AT LEAST FIFTY WARRIORS WILL GO FROM BACK DOOR. THIRTY THROUGH EAST WING DOOR. FORTY THROUGH WEST AND REST FOLLOW BETA JAMES LEAD".

They pile up in groups according to dad's instructions.

"Victoria take the kids to the safe room" Mom only is able to nod.

"No dad, I will fight with them along with you".

" YOU CAN NOT . THEY WON'T HESITATE TO KILL YOU. THEY SAVAGE AND CRUEL. FOR THEM IT DOESN'T MATTERS WHETHER YOU ARE KID OR AN ADULT. SO STOP ARGUING AND GO WITH YOUR MOTHER " dad said in a firm tone.Dad never spoke to me like that before.

My mom grabbed my arm and my sister's and dragged us toward the safe room.

"Leave me mom. Dad needs us. We are perfectly capable of protecting ourselves. I will escape from the safe room".

" Young man you will do no such thing " Mom said with a firm face, glaring at me.

She opens the door of the safe room or more like a weapon room.

"You will stay here and look after your sister".Before I can argue mom opened the room door and pushed us inside and locked it.

" Now what will we do brother? ".

" I do not know what you will do but I am not leaving mom and dad there".

"No brother don't do this. You risk life. Mom and dad do not want that".

" And leave them to die there".

That shut her up. I went to the weapon cabinate. Pull out a sword.

"If you are not coming , fine but do not expect me to stay here".

She hesitate for few moments then said " Ok fine, I will come with you". I smrik at her and throw another sword at her. She catch it swiftly. Dad has trained from very young age so we know how to fight very well.

"How we will go out of this room".

" To open the door we need to enter password but for that we need a keypad. The keypad must be on the wall some where hidden".Saying I move towards the left wall beside the door and start knocking wherever I knock produce same sound but at one place it produce different as if it is hollow from inside and my guess was right. When I touch that part of the wall small portion of wall slide and the keypad come into view. I type the password and the door open.

I and Juliana ran out of the room , we saw number of dead bodies laying on the floor of pack members, visitors and hunters. The floor is covered in blood. Warriors are still fighting them. We run towards the battle field and start fighting. We were not showing them any mercy. I and Juliana killed evey single hunter who came into our way.

Dad was wrong they can not kill us. We are born predators . We kill to survive.

There is no sign of dad and mom anywhere. Suddenly we heard a heart piercing sound of my mother's cry. Juliana and I look at each other, swords still in our hand ran towars the top floor. We are covered in blood.

We saw mom is sitting on the floor her looks are disabled and dad's head is laying on mom's lap. A silver sword has pass through his heart. Mom is clutching his body and crying uncontrollably. A hunter dead body is laying beside them.

We come near to them, my knees gave up. I grab my father's hand which is now cold as ice.

"DAD".

" THIS CAN NOT HAPPEN. YOU CAN NOT LEAVE US".

"WHO WILL TRAIN US. WHO WILL LOOK AFTER US".

" DAD ,MOM NEEDS YOU, WE NEEDS YOU. YOUR PACK NEEDS YOU" I said this while tears streaming down my face.

Juliana is crying vigorously beside me.

Slowly I let my fathers hand down ,stand up and vowed.

"I WILL KILL EVERY HUNTER TILL THERE IS NO ONE LEFT. YOU KILLED MY FAMILY, MY FATHER. I REMOVE ALL YOUR EXISTENCE FROM THE EARTH. I WILL GIVE YOU LIVES WORST THAN DEATH.I VOWED TO MY FATHER'S DEAD BODY".

Saying I collapsed beside my father's dead body and start staring at a distance.
