Chapter Forty-Eight

I arrived at the hall and quickly found Henry, I stood beside him as Sophia left, she was clearly uncomfortable by my presence and I didn't care. I had always wanted to get rid of that fake friendship and I was so glad I got rid of it.

"Where did you go? I didn't even know when you left me. I just turned back and found out that you weren't there."

I moved closer to him and whispered in his ear, "I went to see Blake."

He was surprised, he probably didn't know I would take that bold step. "What happened? How did it go? Did the guards allow you in?" His numerous questions sent me off guard.

"Yeah, I managed to speak with him. I hope the vampire king do not kill him if he is given to them. I'll kill myself if anything bad happened to him." I answered.
