Chapter Thirty-Five

When I woke up, I knew the hour had come. I sprang up from my bed and met a girl holding a knife trying to attack me.

I dodged the first one and it slashed through my skin, I screamed in pain as I kicked her and closed the door on her, slamming her right into the floor. As I ran towards the hallway, I could see people fighting with knifes and anything they could use.

I couldn't even walk properly on the floor without stepping on bodies, alive or probably dead. I was so confused, I thought I'd piss in my pants if I was given a chance.

My eyes were burning from trying to stay open. Everywhere didn't look safe because they were all fighting and the guards weren't even doing anything to stop them.

Soon enough, I found a small tunnel that led underground. But someone came from behind me and almost wounded me with a knife. I fell to the ground and hit my head on a pipe. I was trying so hard to stop myself from screaming so as not to attract others.

Suddenly the girl who pushed me screamed.
