Chapter 18 He was everywhere

Joan’s POV

I simply did not know how and where those bullshits came crowding in his mind. I neglected his words and went to the bathroom, where I simply washed my hands and took deep breaths in the mirror.

I have a feeling that something special was gonna happen tonight. Maybe my fate was telling me that tonight was the day that I would break up with Fletcher.

Going to the bathroom was just an excuse. What I actually wanted was to find out if Fletcher would continue to get in touch with Karen while I was gone, even if I was only gone for a little while.

But I didn't expect Noah to reappear before my eyes. For me, now he was the barrier between me and Fletcher. If this barrier was not removed, I didn't think I could seriously and perfectly deal with my relationship with Fletcher. Though we would break up at last, the ending of our story must be wonderful, for me.

Out of my expect, when I came out of the bathroom, I didn't see Noah. The table where he had been sitting had been cleared a
