Chapter Eighteen

The training, like he had said, was little things that didn't matter, and she never wanted anything like that. She would pick some herbs and head back to her room, where she would be locked up like a bird in the night. When she was done, she would sleep like the bird she was.

Evie smiled when she picked out another card and dropped it on the table.

"I won again." She said. "Hand them all over," Evie said, as she began to push the gold coins towards her side of the table.

"We don't have another coin, and we won't be playing any games, Milady. Don't you have better things to do?" The maid named Cynthia said.

Well, the best part of staying in the palace without anyone knowing about her was that she got to know about each room, and soon enough she would be leaving the palace to the city to buy things with Junping.

Everyone knew she was royalty, but none knew who she was.
