Nine

In an absolute state of shock and a state of pain , I tried to understand the fatal scenario which just played out as lizzy and Estella kept on apologizing on MY behalf. It felt like a lightning spear came brushing down my face, with immense speed. I could feel the handprints while just feeling through. It felt like a very annoying bee sting. I wished to ask questions and throw exclamatory and harsh claims on the bastard but those burdens couldn't get through my mouth which was shut.

I was perplexed and disturbed, everything around me felt confusing. Nothing to say or add to that embarrassing moment as my heart kept racing and minor surges of anger inflict me like a cancer. She didn't look like she cared if the hot tea scalded me, I knew this from the hatred in her eyes as she was starring at me . I didn't know of her name but I knew that now wasn't the right time to ask for it because the situation was extremely tense. Now the thing that blew me off was the fact that after I got my face severely slapped, I had my maids begging on my behalf like she's the innocent one while I was the trash who did the beating. As time graced by slowly, I gathered up enough energy to stand up from the floor and look for a seemingly better resting place to put things through. It felt like everyone in the dressing room saw me as the enemy as "her majesty" violet get soothed by Lizzy and Estella while I sat there to wallow in pain like a wounded dog.

It had never occurred to me that I had an enemy lurking in the shadows for a slap. "Did she not know who I was?"; this was the very question that kept playing in continuoum in the mind of Anastatia. I was in much of a shock to make of a statement then someone verbally confronts her (violet) mildly. Her image was one of tenacity and intimidation. She looked looked like one who didn't give a damn about her inferiors and just treats anyone like garbage. Of course I couldn't give her the jiddy critical insults and harsh claims because of my shocking state, but there was one aura she had that didn't make me feel at ease.

From the confrontation. I supposedly got information of her name being Violet but yet I couldn't still get why I was treated with the level of disrespect she showed to me. It was so infuriating. "Who is she supposed to be?", I asked trying to put things together ."I can't with this", Violet said as she dramatically leaves the area with agitation all over her face escorted by her maids. Before she exited the dressing room, she gave me a devastating look provably like a warning and said, "don't cross my territory ever again" with a straight look of disappointment and disgust at me. The only happiness I could have needed was to go up to to her and give her a piece of my mind then I heard a statement which left me puzzled. "You don't want to mess with her Ana, I know she did something unspeakable but she's not who you think she is". I started down at lizzy and Estella to explain who she was but they felt somewhat conflicted to talk about her to me but I insisted to know the truth. I felt I needed to know about her before I take action. I then decided that we (Lizzy, Estella and I ) will be going to the royal balcony to give me what to know about violet. The royal balcony was the most graceful place to me in the castle hovering over it with it's large and we'll sculpted pillars. After getting a befitting dress, we left the dressing room to the balcony where I came to learn of the Violet I recently encountered.

Everything Lizzy and Estella told me had just sounded like a surprise bomb. It was Lizzy doing most of the talking as Estella backed her up. She sounded like the informative type so it was very nice to have her around. My eyelids didn't shut once due to the intensity of the new information that just came to my understanding. From what Estella and Lizzy told me at the balcony, Violet was another royal blood but was the wife of Darius. I shrugged with intimidation written all over my body wishing I had never had that particular kind of encounter with Violet.Anastatia's voice resonated with determination, her words echoing off the stone walls as she vowed to confront Violet and defend her honor. Estella, ever the voice of reason, cautioned Anastatia against acting rashly, reminding her of the importance of maintaining her regal composure. The flickering torches cast shadows across their faces, illuminating the resolve etched in Anastatia's expression and the wisdom gleaming in Estella's eyes. Together, they strategized, plotting a course of action that would uphold Anastatia's honor .As they parted ways, the weight of their conversation lingered in the air, a silent vow between two allies bound by loyalty and duty. In the halls of power, amidst the whispers of court intrigue, the bond between Anastatia Lizzy and Estella remained unbreakable, forged in the crucible of adversity. I definitely knew that she was in a league far above mine. I tried recollecting all the information in and recalled from our last meeting with violet why I couldn't notice that she's a royal blood. The atmosphere suddenly grew a bit uncomfortable for me as Lizzy and Estella talked on and on about Violet. After everything, I thought I'd call it a day as the evening grew by with the clouds slowly parading the skies.

Waking up , I couldn't still shake the feeling that violet was the mate of prince Darius but knowing how weak and maltreated I am, I couldn't just do anything.
