Sybil’s POV

Just in time two soldiers marched towards me.

‘Run!’ My mind told me as I saw them approaching angrily. Oh no.

‘Run, Sybil, run!’

‘Don’t run, did you do anything? You’ll just tell the truth!’ My wolf said, but as I saw the approaching soldier I couldn’t hold my ground and bolted.

My wolf groaned in frustration and I muttered an apology still running. The men chased me while Aria yelled from behind, running as well, “Stop! Stop!”

“No! Don’t worry about me!” I yelled right back at her, still running. I caught sight of some servants by the balcony, some washing, and amongst other things, staring at me.

You’ve got to be kidding me. Those lying imbeciles!

I didn’t go far away before slabs of muscle knocked me to the ground, I rolled over about to bolt when hands grabbed the other side of my arms.

They yanked me up when Aria reached us, she was panting and dropped to my feet, trying to catch her breath, “why, why did you run?”

“Because you said they were after me,” I said, fighting against the men, but they didn’t shake.

“You said you are innocent, isn't running proving otherwise?”

My wolf rolled her eyes and said something about how she had warned me of the same thing. The soldier dragged me back to the tent outside housing the general from before.

“This is her.” They shoved me down and my bones connected with the ground. I bit a wince and lowered my head. It wasn’t too late to still be the sweet docile girl, till the death of the soldiers subsided.

“I didn’t do it, I didn’t touch her,” I blurted out immediately as the soldiers met me. “I swear it.”

“She did!” Yelled the bitch by the wall, standing and staring at me.

“You lying bitch,” I cursed, “she fell by her own doing, not mine.”

“She pushed me and made me fall into the water!” Violet lied, pointing her fingers at me. The general regarded me in disdain, having been there when I stabbed his friend, he glowered and nodded.

“You have seen her in the camp, she’s very rude, wild with no respect. She even stabbed a general in the presence of other slaves. She pushed me to the ground, it’s all the slaves are talking about.”

My mouth dropped as she made things up. I would believe her as well, I had a streak of chaos in the pack and now that I mentioned stabbing the general, his friend stared at me like he wanted to strangle me.

“Take her to the dungeon, she will be punished for starting a fight with the alpha’s daughter. Violet standing beside the general flashed me a smile of victory before the men grabbed me.

“I didn’t do it! She’s laughing! I didn’t push her!” But the soldier didn’t listen, they all pulled me along the hard ground.

Dammit! I didn’t even touch her and I was suffering for it. My father should have been an alpha, maybe I would have forgiven him for abandoning us.

Helplessness.

Here I was nothing but a slave and the words of a lady with her full right, no chains around her legs made me wish I had a different life.

“Let her go.”

They immediately dropped me at the deep baritone voice of the rogue alpha, power dripping from every word. I fell face-first on his feet and bit my lips.

“She got aggressive with Miss Violet,” the general filled in. And it felt like I was back in the throne room where he beheaded a man simply because he went against him.

Well not necessarily went against him since he wanted to kill me himself, but I hated the fact that I was getting caught between two hard rocks

“Did she push you, Violet?” The alpha asked cautiously, she avoided his gaze. Lying bitch. I was quiet, still on my knees, praying reverently to the moon goddess.

“Y-yes.” She didn’t meet anyone’s eyes.

The alpha called someone in and the soldiers brought a girl in. I realized it was the same girl that saw everything.

“Talk,” the alpha commanded and the girl started immediately, explaining everything about how she told her friends and some how the girls twisted the words and soon words were out that I pushed her down. The girl explained. Some soldiers that were positioned in the hall when it happened confirmed this.

Violet used the humiliation from her falling to lie that I had pushed her, I was so glad we weren’t alone. The general didn’t say anything, he just shook his head then bowed to his alpha.

“Leave us,” the alpha said and we all scurried out leaving him with his general.

“I knew you didn’t do it.” Aria hugged me and I chuckled.

“That’s a lie.”

Aria sighed, “yes that’s a lie, you are very reckless and impulsive. I thought she had baited you and you’ve given in.”

We laughed and walked into the house. Inside Aria let go of my hand and faced me, “I’ll see you later, stay out of trouble and the bitch’s face.”

I nodded before she let go. I turned, going up when I bumped into a hard solid object. I groaned and rubbed my face. But when I lifted my head, my legs grew leaden and I could hardly move.

His dark eyes pinned me like he wanted to understand me, brow furrowed in confusion. Remembering my manners I lowered my head, “good day.”

He didn’t reply to me, not that I expected him to but the icy look from him was enough to make me remember my manners and ignore the fact that he didn’t reply to me. I didn’t want him to, I just wanted to get out of here.

“Sorry, I wasn’t watching my way,” I bowed and stepped aside, giving him access to pass. With one last glance at me, he walked past me.

I immediately looked over my shoulder to see him, and that backside struck a distinct memory at the back of my mind. He stopped and I quickly averted my gaze, looking away and hurrying down.

A prickling sensation told me he was the one who stabbed me in the stomach. The grunt from him and the pitiless black in his eyes swerved with hunger for blood.

I didn’t go to the room again, I ended up walking to the balcony to breathe in and calm my spiked nerves. I wasn’t only scared that he stabbed me, it was the least of my concerns.

What I was however scared of was being discovered. If he was in fact the culprit then he would wonder how I healed fine and didn’t act like I had been stabbed almost to death.

If he got curious about me he could keep tabs on me, set more traps then he would eventually discover my abilities.

Was he the one? If he was, why didn’t he say anything? Did he know that I would recognize him if I saw him? What was going through his head and who the hell was he?

As I was fretting, worrying a petite black haired caught my attention. The girl I’ve been looking for. Lily.

She saw and immediately turned to go down back, my legs were already in motion as I hurried towards her. She noticed me approaching and added more speed, till she was running and I was practically chasing her.

She opened their room about to shut it when I pushed it back with all the force I had, catching her by surprise as I stumbled in.

“Oh moon goddess what have I gotten myself into.” Lily pinched her brows, before I could ask her what I wanted she spun very fast and faced me.

“And how may I help you? I didn’t rat you out, give up your chase for me, hmmm?” She was practically pleading.

“I just wanted to make sure that—“

“I’ve done all that you asked, I have kept to myself, remember our agreement? We don’t know each other. We don’t do why are you suddenly chasing me, hmm?”

Her face was fear-stricken, doe eyes pleading as she chewed the bottom lip of her mouth.

“I just wanted to make sure you were safe and that you wouldn’t talk.”

She let out a dry laugh. “Talking will automatically land both of us in trouble. I'm a scared girl, not dumb. So stop noticing me, stop staring at me, stop chasing me.”

“We are all scared but you can’t blame me for worrying, you can throw me under and spill everything to save your skin and I wouldn’t be able to hold it against you.”

Lily scoffed, her fear replaced with disgust. She cracked her head, “You think I give a bleeding fuck about Azin, that rapist? You think I care, I’m happy, relieved he’s dead. If I’m to go back in time I would want you to throw him off the balcony with my support even.”

Her eyes had turned from the innocent ones to a very angry one, her jaw clenched under her plump cheeks.

“I’m glad that murder fucker is dead and I would not die for him. I would not. So you don’t have to worry.”

I nodded, but I still added just to keep her prepared, “Violet is unto me, for now she suspects I let the spies in, but it will not take long before she puts the pieces together and when she does she’ll come for you first.” I watched Lily for any sign of protest before I added, “I just want our stories to align when she meets with either of us.”

Lily let out a low laugh, “you are the one to stay out of trouble girl, you attract more flies than you need.” She patted my shoulder before walking past me to the door.

“If we are to meet in secret, we are not accomplices or friends,” she warned before walking out.

Sybil’s POVHis teeth grazed my collarbone and I froze on my ass.‘Pull away!” My wolf snapped but I didn’t have the willpower to rip myself from his touch. My dream is for him to own me, to fuck me in the most insane way.His finger trailed down and he pushed the strap of my dress down over my shoulder. I wasn’t wearing any undies because I didn’t usually sleep with them. So when he pushed it down, my breast came into view. Plumped and plush. He took the wine from me and placed it on the table. Then I scooted inside as he crept up on me. Lowering his head, his tongue darted out and passed my hardened bud, he repeated the action till they were hard and such worthy.“Tell me to stop.” He whispered in the crook of my neck and I moaned. “Say it.”I bit my lips, fighting back a moan, and told him to stop. In which universe? His touch was a thousand times hotter than Ryder’s. He was a man and understood what he had to do to make a woman lose the semblance of her thought. And that was what

Sybil’s POVI stepped back, raising my hand as I walked out of the kitchen. Leaving the girls behind. They muttered something about me pretending, but I didn’t mind.On my way to the room, I met with Aria too. We walked side by side to our rooms. The moment we were in she dashed to the toilet while I slumped on my bed. How do I meet with my father? Should I go tonight? If I went tonight there was a high chance of getting caught, also I could go unnoticed. They wouldn’t think anyone would be foolish enough to come down to the dungeon after the incident with the spies.Aria stepped out and hit the bathroom. The warm water made it hard to leave. So leaned against the tub and imagined the ironic life.Back at my pack I didn’t have a tub inside my small bedroom, and I was free, albeit slightly. However, here I was a sex slave. I had a bathtub.“What was your dream before you were bought?” Aria asked, back on her bed, facing the ceiling. I contemplated before I answered. Have I ever had a

That if she could she would go back in time to assist me in killing him.It was assuring what she said, that she wanted to kill him as well, but I didn’t completely trust her. Her fear was what made me most scared, she could get terrified and out me.But for now I had to trust her, give her a benefit of doubt before I did anything. Besides, meeting up with her multiple times would make us look suspicious. As I walked my head was buzzing with different thoughts and then I remembered Eve, should I tell her about what happened? I could trust her right? Or was I overshooting?Going down I heard a loud groan that made me stop dead in my tracks. It wasn’t the sound of the groan that made

Sybil’s POV As I worked I tried as much as possible to keep my eyes on Lily, I hadn’t noticed much of her since till this day. Now she was suddenly everywhere, going in and out of the general’s tent.Every time I saw her walking in, my pulse would race and I would mentally prepare my mind to be dragged out by my hair outside to the gallows. Maybe they would kill me by the gate for the spies lurking around to see as a warning and then they would hang my head up on a spike.Worse what if they made me watch as they rape her and then kill her instead? The rogue alpha did mention that he has use for him, I wondered if the use was big enough for the lives of his two warriors.Definitely not. I concluded.A moment later she walked back to the pack house, I was about to call her when some irritated voice asked, “How long have you been in one spot?”When I came face to face with the soldier, I imagined him to be the one who stabbed me, but that one had more roughness and wicked edges to him

Sybil’s POVThe calamity yesterday had subsided. Dead bodies were dragged out and amongst them was the soldier who fell off the balcony.Upon seeing him I straightened my already ramrod back, breath hitched in my throat. A General walked forward and peered at the bodies of the soldiers. He kicked the soldier I killed and turned to face me.“Where did you find him?” He asked the floor soldiers who were angry at the loss of their comrades.“Behind the pack house, he seemed to have fallen down.”The girl from last night was here as well. I watched as she shifted from one foot to the other, how she pinched her fabric and kept running her free palm up and down her skirt.Staring at her made my heartbeat increase rapidly, thudding like the hooves of horses in war. I should look away for my sanity but I can’t seem to find the ability to rip my gaze off her. At the back of my mind, a voice niggled persistently that if I looked away she might rat me out. For all I knew my gaze could be the thi
