Mia thought Alex was beginning to change. But she realized she was wrong after what he just did to her.
She was beginning to think if she should finally give up on trying to be close with him. Because he was being so hard headed and complicated. Wouldn't even let himself to be free.
She thought maybe she was expecting too much from him. That he had been living a lonely life before she came. And she couldn't just expect him to change like that.
But earlier when they had been at the museum, he had act carefree a bit. Was even laughing and smiling with her. Even took shots of her when she had begged him to.
But now, he was going back to his shell , and being his old self again. Mia didn't even know where she was heading to, but she felt that she needed to be away from him at the moment. Because what he just did to her, was extremely rude.

Writer's POVShe had a terrible dream about Alex again. This time he was shot dead by Tunde Ibrahim, here in Houston, Galveston. The dream felt too real that when she woke up, she was sweating profusely and had tears on her cheeks. She had been crying while having the dream.After washing her face, she decided to head straight to Alex's room to go see him. MiaDejá vu was the word that popped in my head when my eyes lazily fluttered open, just in time to catch a pair of honey brown eyes, accompanied with long lashes, watching me cautiously with sadness and concern.It was no other person than Alex. Chapter fourthyMiaWhen I flicked my eyes opened hours later, I didn't see Alex. It was already morning and it felt like all that just happened was a dream. Like Alex appeared in my dream. But I was fully aware that it wasn't. Alex really came. He was informed about my condition and came back to Gavelston to check up on me at the hospital.
