Keenan's POV:

I woke up to Nivea screaming 'no' and started to comfort her. I didn't know what she just dreamed about but I could tell it really bothered her.

She jumped up after crying for about 10 minutes and went to the bathroom. She stayed in there for a whole before coming out, still sniffling.

"Bad dream?" I asked.

She nodded in response and I frowned. "I'm sorry love. come here. " I said while walking to her and picking her up bridal style. I layed us back down on the bed and rubbed her hair.

'We will kill that vampire for ever meeting our mate.' Conri said.

'Yes we will Conri. Yes we will.' I replied.

Conri was on edge that the vampire harmed our mate to the point after a long time, she is still troubled by him. I don't blame him on bit for being mad. All I can do to fix it is be here for her and protect her.

"Keenan?" She asked in a small voice. Thank Godess for wolf hearing.

"Yes love?"

"Please don't leave me alone. I'm scared. " she said in that same small voice.
