Westley POV
When I saw the most beautiful angel walking down the drive way I would have never guessed that she was my little sunshine. The moment she told me who she was I knew that my brother couldn’t have her, and I would be the one to make sure of that. Looking into her eyes I could tell she was too innocent for that monster, and from what she told me he had already taken advantage of the most beautiful soul I’d ever met.
My little sunshine has been occupying my thoughts as far back as I can remember, and sense I was little whenever I saw her picture I always got a longing feeling. Alpha Keen POV He finally answers his door after I’m pounding on it for a good five minutes, and I see her snuggled in the middle of his bed. He tries to block me from entering, and I push past him shooting him pointed glare at him. Gemma POV The last thing I remember I was sitting in Westley’s car, and he had just told me that we are werewolves. I couldn’t wrap my mind around everything that the familiar stranger had shared with me. I’m perplexed about why I’ve never been able to make a friend to save my life, but here in this new town I feel close to people I know nothing about. Gemma POV As we left West's room hand in hand an overwhelming uncertainty crept over me that not even the sparks from Keen could chase away. He had shared all the reasons how he knows we are mates, and was determined to show me that West wasn't. Gemma POV The pack doctors as well as the old Alpha and Luna told Alpha Keen that I should rest for a day before starting school just to make sure everything was on the up and up. I was annoyed at myself for being sad that Alpha Keen hadn’t come to tell me this himself, and I cursed at my heart for having feelings for someone who clearly didn’t deserve them. Gemma POV I lift my head when the door opens, tears streaming down my face, and barely hand on by a thread. “Oh sunshine, your dad let me know you didn’t take news about my brother so well.” He bent down in front of me balancing on the balls of his feet trying to make eye contact with me, and places my small body in his embrace.
