Chapter 41

Joe Bandit P.O.V

After pulling out of the driveway of Chasity’s house, I drove off and headed home. All the lights were off.  Mom and dad must have already gone to bed. I parked the car and quietly crept into the house. Silently closing the door behind me as I tried to walk as quietly as I could, from the front door to the stairs.

“We need to talk,” spoke a deep voice, causing me to jump up in surprise and quickly looked to my left.

The light flicked on, and there stood my father, standing by the light switch on the wall. His arms were crossed, and judging by the stern expression on his face. I knew it was serious.  Hopefully I am wrong on that part… if I am lucky.

“Gosh dad. You’re such a creeper. This is the second time you pulled this move,” I teased, trying to lighten the mood.

His lips twitched in amusement, “Ha-ha.”

My mood then changed, when I remembered
