A sharp pain shot through my back as a message from the group chat popped up on my phone. It was a fan group of a libidinous playboy.

Without thinking, I opened the group chat, and there was Shane Canfield, the group leader, showing off photos of himself with dozens of women and bragging about his latest flirty adventures.

Nothing had changed, even though it felt like I had started a new life.

Every time Shane flirted around, I ended up feeling the consequences.

I was so mad that I wanted to call him out right there in the chat, but then he tagged everyone.

[Guys, I heard the bar in Southelon is a great place to meet drunk women. I'm heading there now!]

He left a creepy voice message, and a whole bunch of people quickly made plans to join him.

Seeing Shane off to have fun again, I grabbed my car keys, determined to stop him at the bar in Southelon. If not, he would eventually wreck me with his wild ways.

However, just as I was about to leave, my wife, Wren Larsen, who had just gotten home, blocked my way. She looked at me with a deep frown, clearly upset. "Jasper, where are you off to at this hour?"

I was about to reply when I caught the smell of cologne on her, the same kind Shane always wore.

Ever since Shane, her old sweetheart, came back to town, she had not shared a bed with me. She claimed sleeping apart would bring us closer, but now, she was covered in another man's scent.

I was so mad that I showed her Shane's flirty messages and photos from the group chat.

"Seriously, what do you think I'm off to do? I'm just trying to stop your precious Shane from causing trouble and wrecking my life!"

However, Wren barely gave my phone screen a look before she burst out laughing at me.

"Jasper, you're not going to tell me that you've lost your spark because Shane's out there flirting with girls, are you? Look, if it's not working, it's not working. Why blame Shane and make up excuses?"

It was the same in my previous life.

After Shane started flirting all over the place, I started feeling really weak, and things between me and Wren were just not right anymore.

Hence, I got suspicious of Shane and sneaked into this group chat.

However, Wren just adored Shane. She would not even listen to me.

"You're not up to it, that's all. Why make up stories and badmouth Shane?

"Shane told me himself, he's just playing around with those girls. Nothing's really happening! You're probably just jealous because Shane's got game, and you're making up stories to get my sympathy!"

After that, Wren got so mad that she moved out and even chose to live right next door to Shane. Every time I tried to apologize and make things right, she would just kick me out without a second thought.

Even when I fainted at her door from being so drained, Wren just laughed at me while hanging onto Shane's arm.

"Hey! Done with your little act? Don't think faking being sick will win me back! If a guy can't cut it, he's just a loser!"

For three whole months, Wren and Shane got up to no good. I was so weak from kidney problems that I ended up in the hospital 20 times and even caught an STD.

Shane, always looking for a thrill, had decided to visit the brothels in the Southwind Asira red-light district. After one crazy night, my body just could not take it anymore, and I dropped dead.

However, I woke up to a second chance at life. This time, I was determined to change my fate!

Ignoring Wren's sneering, I walked out the door with purpose.

Instead of heading straight to Shane's favorite bar, I made a beeline for the emergency room. "Doctor, I'm overly libidinous. Can you give me a castration?"
