Chapter 2

Author: Perfect Timing
The doctor was shocked that someone would ask for a castration.

I acted like I had no choice, saying it was so bad that it could kill me. The doctor was scared but could not do much except give me medicine to calm down my urges. He warned me to take the medicine according to the prescription or I could get really sick from it.

I agreed and took off to the bar in Southelon where Shane was bragging about his latest adventures.

When I got there, Shane was living it up with a bunch of women. He saw me coming, all fired up, and teased, "Hey, why if it isn't Mr. Gibson? What's got you visiting the bar tonight?

"Wren told everyone you've lost your touch, and here you are, at the bar late at night, instead of cozying up with your wife at home!"

The moment the words were out, the whole bar erupted in laughter. The women Shane had brought along to keep him company gave me looks of disgust.

However, I ignored their sneers and just stared at Shane coldly.

I had downed a whole bottle of pills that were meant to dampen my desires on my way over.

Any regular guy would have been ready to hit the hay after that. However, Shane? He was laughing it up, playing around with women, and getting handsy.

Maybe the medicine was not strong enough?

Just then, Shane flashed a mean grin. "Mr. Gibson, are you here to join my club?" He slung an arm around me like we were best buds. "Should've said so sooner! Come on, bro. I'll show you how to win a lady's heart!"

With a big gesture, he ordered a bottle of Ace of Spades champagne that cost a whopping 15 thousand dollars.

The women went wild, jumping around and cuddling up to him, letting him flirt as much as he wanted. They said in between giggles, "Mr. Canfield, you're the best! How about you stick with me tonight?"

Shane gulped down his drink, kissing and hugging these women, having the time of his life.

Meanwhile, my face turned beet red, a sure sign I was allergic to the booze. I shivered and glared at Shane, knowing full well he was doing all that just to get under my skin!

I held back the pain and, with a burst of anger, knocked all the drinks off the table.

Right away, Shane and the women in their tiny tops started screaming.

Shane, who was super drunk, grabbed my shirt and yelled at me, "Jasper, are you crazy? This bottle of fancy champagne cost me 15 thousand dollars! Can you pay for that?!

"You're just mad because you can't do things right, and now, you're taking it out on everyone else!"

I was so mad and ready to argue with him, but then Wren showed up out of nowhere. She did not even try to find out what was going on and just slapped me right across the face.

"Jasper! When will you stop making a scene? Aren't you just jealous of Shane?"

After she said that, she ran to Shane and hugged him, asking worriedly, "Shane, are you okay? Did Jasper hurt you?"

I watched them being all lovey-dovey in front of me and felt sick. I swallowed the pills I had in my pocket. The doctor said taking too many could make me really sick. However, Shane did not seem affected at all.

I was the one who started feeling super sick and dizzy. Ugh, I did not think the mysterious power to transfer side effects would only work one way!

Wren, looking really upset, helped Shane up and they walked away. Before they left, she told me, "Jasper, if you keep this up, we're going to get a divorce right away!"

After they were gone, I just could not hold on anymore and fell to the ground.

Luckily, I managed to mess up Shane's plans tonight, and I did not end up in the hospital with a scary allergic reaction to alcohol like I did in my previous life.

It took me a while, but I finally got up, said sorry to the bar owner, and went home to rest.

However, once I was in bed, I just could not fall asleep. I knew that until I figured out what was really going on, Shane could have me in a tight spot at any time.

As I was trying to think of a way out, a sharp pain hit me in the stomach, and I started to feel dizzy and see spots.

I was hugging the toilet, throwing up so much that I thought I was going to pass out. I thought maybe I had taken too much medicine.

I was about to call for help on my phone when I saw a new message from Shane pop up in the group chat.

Without thinking, I tapped on it and saw he was bragging about having used a bunch of condoms. He had even posted a photo in the chat.

[Guys, check out what I just did. Pretty awesome, right?]

The stranger in the robe mumbled a bunch of strange spells, and I felt like bugs were biting me all over. It hurt so much that I could not help but yell. "Shane, Wren! What are you doing to me?" Shane watched me in pain and laughed like a madman. "Hahaha, we're using a spell from Southwind Asira to transfer all my sickness and bad reactions to you! How else am I supposed to have fun with the ladies later?" Wren added, "This spell is super wicked. Normally, a person can only undergo it once. But you're so tough that you broke the first spell, so we have to do it again. This time, it's going to hurt even more. You might not even make it!"After that, she giggled and cuddled up to Shane."Now, all your money will be mine, and I can finally be with Shane without any trouble."I finally got the whole picture after listening to their conversation. I glared at them with anger. However, they did not seem to care and even started to cuddle right in front of me."Jasper, since your wife

A week flew by, and right after I landed, I spotted Wren nearby. She came over with a smile, trying to take my hand. She said sorry to me while looking really sorry. "Honey, I was mean to you before, but I've realized now how nice you've been to me." I acted like I totally believed her. "It's all good, dear. Let's forget about the past and head home!" Wren pulled her hand away without thinking, but when she saw that I was confused, she quickly explained, "Honey, I can't go yet! I know you got jealous because I was worried about Shane, and that was my fault!"However, he's all alone in a strange place, so you should visit him, right? I've got the car ready, and after we see him, I'll go back with you. We'll have a good life after this!" I knew exactly what they were planning.Today was the day Shane was going live. Wren was quiet on the phone, not saying a word for the longest time. It was not until she heard the nurse say I could leave the hospital that she finally asked me, "Are you all better now?"I did not want to deal with her too much, and I was about to hang up, but then Wren's crying stopped me."Honey, what are you going to do when you leave the hospital?""What's it to you?" My voice was icy, but Wren suddenly seemed to switch gears, sounding all sad and sorry as she spoke to me."Honey, I know it's all my fault for favoring Shane too much lately, and that's made you upset with me. But I've realized my mistake, and I know I shouldn't have snapped at you. I've seen how kind you've been to me all this time."Can you please come to Southwind Asira and pick me up? I promise I'll come back with you, and we'll have a good life."Was Wren, after getting enough of Shane's rough treatment these past few days, hoping for me to step in?I could not figure out what Wren was really up to, bu

Everything started to go dark before my eyes. Holding on to my last breath, I grabbed the police officer's sleeve."I'm not faking... Please, I need to go to the hospital."The officer looked at my ghost-white face and realized something was wrong. He quickly got ready to take me out of there. However, Wren stood in our way, throwing the divorce papers in my face."Sign them and then get lost! I can't take this anymore!"Then, everything went black.…When I woke up in the hospital, the doctor was scratching his head, puzzled. There must have been at least 30 condoms in that photo, showing just how wild Shane's night had been. However, he said 'just'? I grabbed my phone and called Wren right away. However, to my surprise, Shane picked up.He acted like he did not know a thing and said in a calm voice, "Mr. Gibson, are you looking for Wren? Oh, she's asleep right now. If it's not important, let's not wake her, okay?"When I heard those shameless words, I was so mad that I yelled, "You two cheaters! Tell me! What have you done to me? Why do I suffer every time you go out flirting with women?"However, Shane did not answer. He was too busy boasting in his group chat about not having enough fun and wanting to look for more women to party with a
