The room is bright as fluorescent light illuminates its walls bringing out the beauty of the colorful pictures on them. All the art in this room carries a representation of a hidden history understood only by the enlightened mind. This mini-gallery is home to paintings such as The Expulsion from The Garden of Eden, The picture of Archangel Michael standing above Fallen Angels by Luca Giordano, Bruegel and His Fallen Angels, The Chalice and so many others. Though their authenticity is something that only an expert can tell. Although these pieces of art are well recognized in the world the only artwork Count Dracula adorns like a deity is the picture of a beautiful maiden, her gold hair reflects the light of the room like little diamonds were mixed into the artwork. Rebersburg, Pennsylvania. In a small town in Centre County, a black mustang parks in front of a big black gate where a camera is at the top of the fence on the left side of the gate. A human-size capsule is at the center of the room with different wires connected to it. There is someone inside, floating in the liquid content of the capsule. The scientists in the room run about attending to different devices, they answer to the bald old man wearing a lab coat, his white beard looks messy as he observes through a pair of glasses. He gives out orders to his subordinates and he laughs as his project comes to a successful end but there is one happier than he is as this project comes to an end. He stands behind the old scientist who is unaware of his presence, the lights of the room reflect against his black silky hair and his dark eyes hold a hint of happiness in them. Evening falls and Rachael is up and energized though she is clueless about what to do with so much energy so she decides to do what she does best in the club, work. She enters her office and smiles, nothing is out of place. Everything is where it is supposed to be; she turns on the system and begins to check the Club’s invoice and transaction records. She picks up a telephone and punches in some numbers, “Bryan, send the recent entries in the bar’s invoice” she says before she drops the phone. “Gretchen,” he calls her name with disgust. They remove their hoodies to reveal their almost identical faces as they leave the edge of the roof. Gretchen is about 6’3ft tall, she has a slender body and she walks majestically. She has straight long black hair and pale white skin and her blue eyes stare down at Rachael. “How the mighty have fallen. Now you date humans? John steps out of his bathroom with a white towel around his waist, his phone lights up as a notification comes up and he picks it up. Cassandra cuddles up into John’s arms, his body has no warmth since he is an undead but it matters not. She is warm enough for both of them. She gets out of the bed and finds a shirt in John’s closet. She looks at her man sleeping and goes to give him a peck. His cheek is as hard as a brick. She goes to the kitchen to fix herself a glass of water. She drinks the water halfway and stops, she notices something wrong. Something feels off about John’s apartment tonight, so she sniffs into the air as she tries to get the scent of any strange presence. She drops the glass on the counter and bends down to hide behind the kitchen table. Something strange is here, but she has to be sure.
