Chapter Twenty-Three: Are you hurt!
My eyes met his and I froze instantly. The beauty of his bright blue eyes had so much power over me. There was something about those eyes that couldn't stop me from staring at him.
Lucas stared back into my eyes. His iris enlarges capturing every part of me.
No! I heard a loud shout in my head. My body was trying to get me away from his hypnotizing eyes. My body won. Immediately, I move my eyes away from his. His hands against my wrist tighten not wanting to let me go. I spin my hand repeatedly trying to free my hand from his. He let go of my hand right away and I step backward slowly while I carried my eyes back to his.
I pause with my back turn to the open door and touch my wrist, his handheld tightly.
"Did I hurt you?" he asks me softly.
I didn't answer him.
"I'm sorry," he apologizes. His apology was so sweet that it will be hard for me not to forgive him.

He too did the same. His hands never leave my chin as we were lost in each other eyes. My lips begin to shiver by the strong touch of his hand against my chin. My entire body soon feels weak. "So, what is your full name, Lucas?" I inquire him I quickly move away from him and continue to walk. I held my head straight as I did not want to be captured by the beautiful stare of his eyes anymore.
