Chapter Eleven

The next day Patricia and Christopher walked into the dentist hospital, it was fifty minutes past one noon.

“I’ll sit here waiting for you” Patricia gestured to one of the seats at the waiting room

“ok then, I’ll go look for her, I’m sure they are getting her prepared” Christopher walked into a slimmer lobby, leaving Patricia at the waiting room.

Then a door opened, an elderly woman came out, she was Priscilla’s mom

“good day ma” Christopher said, as he bowed to greet her

“Christopher what brings you here? I thought you are in the hospital”

“yes ma, I was but I came to be with Priscilla, since this is her last appointment”

“that is very thoughtful of you, I’m sure Pricillia would be thrilled to see you, she’s in that room, the next turn by your right, the first door you see”

“Alright ma, thank you” Christopher said and scurried away.

Getting to the door, Christopher knocked, he got a permission from someone inside the room to open, then he entered the room, seeing Priscilla already laid on the bed, her mouth was wide open, as the nurse dressed it for the major operation

“good day” Christopher said to the nurse

“good day Christopher, glad you could come, she was already gloomy”

“thank you, ma,”

“I’m through, I’ll go call the dentist to tell him that she is ready”

“alright ma”

The nurse walked out, Christopher walked close to Priscilla she couldn’t talk, she was given some anesthetic injections on her gum, so it hindered her from talking well, seeing Christopher her eyes turned watery, and a tear dropped down her cheek.

“you didn’t think I’ll miss this did you?” Christopher smiled as he held her hand “I figured this was the only way to thank you, and prove to you that you matter to me, since my mom died, you’ve been the only human I’m always eager to see when I wake up in the mornings, you came into my life when I needed a shoulder to cry on, and you provided that place of solace for me. Your name is the only name that send chilled sensations down my spine, seeing you is when the real pleasure comes. My eyes always long to behold the blossom on your face, and my arms fidget at the thought of wrapping them around your hourglass body. I want to look into your dreamy eyes, and give you the same amount of hope you give me, when I behold your beauty. Like a flower that blossoms, and radiates at sunrise, I want to be sunrise to you, so you will blossom at just the sight of my face, because you are my flower” he finished with a smile as he held her hand. More tears slipped and found their way down pricillia's face. What an adorable picture they might have potrayed.

The door opened and the dentist entered, with gloves on his hand and a nose mask, Christopher gave way as the dentist took his seat, on an already placed seat beside Priscila’s bed. After an hour the doctor was through, Priscilla was now bracing free, she was still not able to talk well,

“finally, your braces are off, you look more adorable now”

Priscilla forced a smile. The door opened, Patricia peeped through “my break time is over, we need to start leaving”

“ok ma, I’ll meet you outside” then Christopher faced Priscilla “I will be going back to my hospital, so do take care of yourself, I’ll see you when I see you, bye”
