Stealing the mate

Rain was slapping against the leaves of the trees and on the rough pathway in the centre of the jungle. Clouds groaning loudly and thundering and lightening was happening in the sky. Muddy path way was making it difficult for her to even take a single step. Blood running down from the back of her head. She was drained out of energy completely. 

"CELINE." he shouted from behind her, running towards her with long strides. But the wound of her head and her drained out body made it difficult for her to keep open her eyes. 

Her eyes pooled with tears and she fell on the muddy pathway let the heavy rain pour on her. She shut her eyes in the hope of let them be closed for ever. 

The white wedding gown she was wearing was now dirty in mud, rain pouring on her eyes making her vision blurry. Black dots started to form in front of her. She saw a man  came towards her and squatted down beside her.

As soon as he held her hand her eyes completely shut down blocking all the things of the world around her.

She opened her hooded eyes still feeling dizzy and found herself laying on the bed and brown wooden ceiling above her. She was feeling like she can't even move her hand let alone body. 

She saw a man with extremely worried face sitting on a chair almost hovering above her. "D--D..." she tried to utter something with her full strength but it trailed off completely. 

Her eyes again started to close because of weakness and dizzyness and finally it closed because she her eyes need rest for now.

She lay there unconscious on the bed. Her treatment is completed and now there is only wait for her to wake up from her long unconsciousness.

She started to gain her consciousness because of the medicines given to her. She felt someone kissing the back of her palm continuously while murmuring something. 

"P-please don't leave me please please please." he was chanting like a mantra. She slightly tried to open her eyes but didn't had that much energy in her. She saw through the slit of errands eye lids a man with wet hair was talking to her and asking her again and again to come back to him. 

"D-don't leave me." he stuttered out making the pace of your heart beat faster.

"She is completely fine now and soon we'll be gain her consciousness back." the woman in a black cloak said to him. 

"But the impact of that incident affected her badly and it can result some bad affects for her." the woman again told him. 

"W-What?" the man asked in shock. 

The woman nodded at him and put her hand on his shoulder consoling him sympathetically. 

She opened her eyes slowly and again met with the same ceiling. 

"Hazel." the man called out. 

She completely open her eyes now and slowly tried to sat up. The man immediately came towards her and helped her sitting up on the bed by supporting her. 

"How are you feeling now?" he asked her worriedly glancing at her. 

She nodded at him slowly. "W-who are you?" the fist word she stuttered out in her weak voice, her throat ached. 

"Don't worry love I will take you away from these cruel, sick bastards and not even let a black shadow touch you". He said in a promising tone.

"But w-who are you?" she again asked whispering. Confused of seeing the worried man infront of her. 

With a deep burning inside his chest he scooted closer to her and stared in her eyes. "I'm your mate." he said coldly to her.
