My eyes never stopped looking out for the guards as we moved deeper into the town. As soon as I saw a group of people staring down at a black and white picture on the wall, I knew without a doubt that it was me. We had to leave the streets especially now that the sun was up. In the dark it would be easier to slip around.

As soon as we got to the fountain were parents let their kids play for it was just opposite the city guard office. People considered it to be the safest place in town. I decided to leave Rapunzel there pending the time I found us a place to stay. Moving around the motels with her didn’t seem like a very good idea to me. I would have to go alone and find a place and then bring her along.

“Wait for me here,” I said as we got closer to the fountain were a couple of little girls were playing.

She stared up at me and the smile on her face seem to die down. “Where are you going?” she asked.

“I need to secure a good place for us and food,” I explained as fast as I could
