Derek's point of view:

I woke up the next day feeling uneasy. Ronnie refused to speak to me, completely ignoring my presence like she didn't even know me.

I tried to get her attention, but she wouldn't even look my way.

It was like I was invisible to her. Her silence was deafening, and it made me feel terrible.

Due to the injuries I sustained during the fight, I couldn't go for lectures.

I was stuck indoors, lying on my bed, trying to find a comfortable position.

I couldn't concentrate on anything, and my mind kept drifting to the fight and Ronnie's silence.

The constant fighting between Ronnie and me was starting to take its toll on me.

One moment we were cool, and the next we were at each other's throats. I was tired of it all, and I wanted things to be back to how they used to be.

My body was aching badly, and I was in a lot of pain.

Those punches I took from Golden Boy were no joke, and they had done some serious damage to me.
