Early that morning I donned a dark pair of shades to go with my dark themed casual ensemble. I tried to look as simple as possible. Hannah was deep in sleep so I carefully left the room just so I wouldn't disturb her.

"Boss." One of the guards gave me a salute as I got outside the house that foggy morning.

"I'm driving myself today. Make sure my wife is safe. I'll be back in no time." I told him.

The drive was a long one. I couldn't believe I was trailing this path again. But I had to do something - anything to keep the people I care about safe.

I took deep breaths after the security checked me into the premises. It was early but luckily I had signaled him that I was going to be visiting. His house gave off just how dark he was, same way I had always known it.

I went into the meeting room where we usually discussed. He was seated at the head of the table with his back turned to me.
