Picking out color schemes could be very difficult at times but because I was stubborn I did not let Zach hire a professional to help us set up the nursery. I wanted to do it myself. It was a way to keep me busy and it was a good way to start preparing myself for the journey of motherhood. If this was a way to help me fall in love with my pregnancy, then I was down for it.

I crouched down on the floor, visibly exhausted after standing over a pile of magazines filled with decor ideas placed on what I'd call my work desk.

"Come in Malia!" I said when I heard the knock on the door.

"Malia's still fixing your drink."

My eyes snapped up at the sound of a voice I hadn't heard for quite a while.
