Damon’s POV

“I am not going.” Lucas shook his head, his face holding a firm frown.

I was trying to convince him to go with me to Killian’s welcome-back party. They always didn’t like each other. Killian was not from this pack. He came here briefly some time ago, and mostly tried to keep a low profile.

He hardly ever comes to school, and neither does he come for training. Lucas and I met him during the seasonal hunt and since then, we kicked off as friends but Killian still wanted to maintain a low profile for a reason unknown to us.

He wore hoodies that covered his face most of the time, and hid away from the public to avoid the attention. No one noticed him. Only Lucas and I.

We were prepared to make him a popular boy. We wanted to offer him everything, because his father was a renowned warrior in the pack and he was a lycan like us so he had the potential.
