Chapter 31

Third person's POV

"Mum," Octavia cries out when she met her mother. She wrapped her hands around her neck, not stopping the tears that were cascading down her cheeks.

"My love, what is wrong?" Ruby asked, her heart clenching because of the way she saw her daughter.

She has always known her to be strong and something about seeing her like this makes her want to rip her heart out and kill whoever dared to make her feel this way. She had raised a strong daughter, so she knew very few things could make her break this way.

Whatever it was, it had to be something big.

“It is my father. Mum, why does he hate me?” She choked amidst sobs, wiping her hands on her face as she coughed, her sobs ugly and filled with pain.

Ruby gritted her teeth. It had to be him. He couldn’t rest if he didn’t hurt her. Ruby left him because she wanted to chase her dreams. She had always wanted to become an actress in the human world but she was on Omega before she married him so she was broke.
