Chapter 54

Lucas was hurdled on the cold ground of the cell he was kept in. He buried his head as his mind spun with numerous thoughts; some made him angry, some made him sad and some filled him with regret.

He's been here for at least three hours now, or maybe four. He couldn't tell as there weren't any clocks here, neither was there food, water or anything else. Just him, the darkness and the cold floor—oh, not to forget the pungent smell that oozed from somewhere in the cell.

The unpalatable environment was one of the factors that contributed to his anger, but it wasn't the main reason. The main contributor to his furiousness was the one that subjected him to stay in this repulsive place, his father. And also, the fact that his father had actually sent him to a dungeon, his own son.

Lucas shifted on the floor, proceeding to change his position as he moved from sitting to laying on a cloth spread on the cold floor. He faced up, looking at the ceiling even though he couldn't see anyth
