Chapter One hundred and Six - Files

Isabella's point of view.

Seven days. Exactly one week after I left everything I knew and came to a life as some sort of prisoner. Perhaps my eyes were no longer sunken because I understood and accepted my fate now.

I cleaned the house whenever necessary, which seemed to be every three hours, I cooked variety of meals, sometimes I even baked. I threw some away, the ones that went bad or were just too horrible to be eaten by anyone that valued their tongue.

I should have kept them and given them to Zachary whenever he decided to grace the house with his presence.

Every hour, before I grow bored due to the consistent failures that came from trying different passwords on the computers, tried multiple times to unlock the safe to no avail.

"Do not despair my dear girl, you have come too far to fail now," Mom's voice seemed to come to me whenever I had to lie down on the bed for a little nap.
