Chapter One hundred and Seven - Dog barking

Isabella's point of view.

Today made it exactly fifteen days since I found myself in the same shack with Zachary. Nowadays he did not leave the shack for anything, not even to stack up on food.

I was hungry. He was hungry. The electricity to the shack stopped working.

All I had before it stopped working were my vitamins and the meals I made in a secret compartment in the refrigerator.

I was grateful he had no idea about that, all I had to do was wait till he fell asleep and then ate as much as I wanted before he woke up.

It was a win situation for me in a way, but now I had nothing. I just had no idea what he would be like if he stayed hungry for such a long time, I had no idea what he might do to me to be honest.

I sat on the couch opposite him, watched him as he used a piece of paper to make a makeshift fan for himself just so he could get some cool air.

The electricity to the shack just had to stop working last night, like something destroyed the wires.
