Sally's POV

The darkness is comforting. The gentle breeze blowing through my sadness felt so good on my cold and wounded body. The only source of light that accompanies me is the half-moon hanging in the sparkling night sky.

I wiped the dried blood with my sweater with tears in my eyes. "Mom, Dad. How are you two?" I asked, trying not to sob like a little girl. "I'm sorry I haven't visited you for a long time because I was busy with school and my grandfather,"

I grumbled the last words.

My eyes were glued to their names engraved on the tombstones. "I miss you guys so much, and I feel like I'll die if I keep feeling like this." Sitting on my knees, I cried out. "Please help me."

"I don't know what else to do, or where else to go." I was going to drop out of school to move back in with my grandparents from my mom's side but I was in my senior year and I wanted to remember something I did for myself and all the hard work I did to good use.
