I looked at Aiden and said,” Would you be fine here for some time? I need to take care of something for my boss. I shall be back within an hour.”
“Your boss will ask you to leave and take care of this now while Jared Alvin is in house?” he asked incredulously. It was definitely not my best lie and I knew that there were problems with it as well but at that point it was the best I could do.
“Ummm…it is really an emergency. I think you should take a seat and also take some pictures for your Instagram and I shall be back before you even know it.”
