CHAPTER 25: UNEXPECTED HELP
Chris felt his knees giving out. Blood pools on the ground and Paul’s dead body is at the middle. Teachers already came to the scene and asked the people to disseminate.
“Chris, let’s go.” Kurt mumbled and gently pulled Chris away from the scene.
“Stay here okay? I’m just going to buy some water.” Kurt said as he saw how Chris’ face turned pale when he saw the scene. It was shocking for him too. Paul rarely interacts with them but he doesn’t look like he has a problem.

Linus yawned beside Joaqin, the demon found all of Joaqin’s recent cases as boring and too simple. “Isn’t there a more exciting case to work on? Chris sighed as he checks his messages. Kurt didn’t reply at all and it’s bugging him. Chris woke up with a heavy head. It’s been a week but his body still hasn’t recovered from what happened. He kept thinking of the memories he saw from Troy’s mind. He wrote it the other day while pretending to study. He continued repeating it on his mind too. Chris is convinced that there must be something in those memories that could lead him to the truth, if only he’s strong enough to last longer.“You’re still thinking about that?” Damien appeared beside him. He’s sitting on the edge of the bed and there are a lot of spaces but the demon chose to squeeze him in. Chris sighed but stayed still, he already knew what Damien wanted to do.
