Uninvited

Mathew POV.

"I nu like winter," the baby kitten whines, it's not even winter anymore, most of the hard storms have passed, with her hidden either in my arms or under the bed, or above the fridge, the one thing I never expected to ban or say out loud, you're not allowed to get on top of the fridge.

"The winter is almost over, you can go outside to play," I encourage her, first I was trying my best to get her inside the house, but now I'm trying to get her out of the house.

"I stay in with daddy," she says hugging me tight, she had one of us at the house the whole winter, even her and Seth are finally getting along for once, maybe it's the movies they share, and the popcorn.

"But daddy needs to get out," I tell her, I didn't really need to, but I wanted to get her out of the house, even for a little bit.

"Me stay," she says but her hands were still hugging me tight, she doesn't want to let me go.

"No one is staying in the house," I say out loud as at the same time I was connecting
