Chapter 5

The shock on their faces was so evident that Liilth swallowed so hard.

"What?"

"You hear me right! You tore the previous one given to you, how much more this rags on you."

"But I'll be naked."

"Who the hell cares about that, your people are shameless. They all walk naked as if it's nothing so don't you dare preach to me."

"So you're comfortable that the people will get to see the Alpha King's bride naked? Are you that shameless?"

He kept mute and the others gasped while he stood up and walked towards her.

"Get out from here, all of you."

He ordered and they all nodded and left leaving him with Lilith.

He slammed her on the wall and grabbed the shirt she was wearing.

"Have we met before?" He gritted his teeth in anger as he stared daggers into her.

He couldn't deny it, there's this silly attitude she portrays that reminded him of someone.

"Even if we were fated to meet, I'll kill myself than meeting a monster like you."

He ripped her clothes apart and turned her bare back over.

"Let's get married first, I'll show you what a real monster looks like."

He seethed and kicked her hard by the waist before storming out to meet his men.

He was so angry at the audacity this girl displays so much and it's more frustrating cause he's not willing to change her.

He wants to see her beg and apologize for ever raising her voice at him, he'll make sure he proves to her that no one, especially women, messes with him go scot free.

"My King!" The guard bowed before him and he sighed.

"Lock her up, I don't trust her "

"But she's in your room."

He bit his lips and nodded.

"Yes, lock her and get me the keys before she starts ripping things apart in my pack, she's so fierce that I'm shocked by words."

"Yes, My King "

He bowed and left while Leon went to meet his Beta who was ordering the other men around in preparation of the wedding.

"Brent!"

"My King, you should be resting. You don't know how long you will sit or stand tomorrow."

"I know right, I will. That thing you bought is giving me a migraine."

"Lilith? I'm sorry, we can get another Bride tonight, I saw how displeased you were and I reached out to a..-"

"You did What?" He gasped.

"I'm sorry."

"Are you okay Brent? Who told you that you can just recommend women for me as you like, have I ever said that?" He yelled getting pissed which got Brent confused.

"I'm sorry but you said any random girl and she happens to be insulting "

"And so fucking what? I need that Liilth! Go to her pack and fetch me her brother at once!

He slammed at him.

"Err…he's not in the pack."

"What do you mean?"

"I discovered that he left the pack on the day his sister was brought here."

"Tch! That jerk. I thought I had something against her. Anyway, forget it."

He uttered while the guard he had met earlier came over and bowed, hyperventilating in raw fear.

"What? What's it, where's my key?"

"My King, actually; the door is locked. I've searched around but she's nowhere to be found." His eyes flew open in shock and he left the guards presence immediately.

Leon was so mad as he looked for her around the royal palace but couldn't find. He got frustrated and asked everyone to search for her , which was futile.

"How could he have let her go at such a short time?"

He yelled and everyone flinched and dispersed to search for her.

The whole Pack was in a frenzy as they kept looking for her knowing how Leon might turn the whole place in rampage if she isn't found.

The next day, every respectable dignitary came around to witness his wedding and Leon had never felt restless.

He didn't sleep a wink and he couldn't imagine the mass disgrace he's going to face in the presence of everyone.

"Why are you all so useless?!" He yelled and flinched the table that was decorated with different ornaments and everything smashed.

"You let a mere wolf take over and sneak away, without any trace. HOW DARE YOU!!" His voice trembled in pain and he recalled how his parents were killed without justice.

He needed this throne, he needed to get married publicly and he needed a son.

How the hell will he do that when some cursed wolf was brought to him?

It was time for him to step out as a lot were Impatient that neither the groom or the bride were present.

"You need to postpone it.."

Brent said and he gasped.

"Can you listen to yourself?"

"Then will you face what will befall you? The moon goddess will see you disqualified for deceitful approach."

Leon gritted his teeth in pain, why today.

He knew he was harsh to her but who was feeding her with boldness to flee!

"Damn it!". He roared.

"I didn't flee." Her calm voice reverberated through the room and Leon turned to look at her in shock.

"Lilith."

She was still in the clothes she wore and her torn shirt was still on her too, barely trying to cover herself.

"I was locked up in your closet last night, I had to stay all night to break through."

She whimpered in pain and Leon went over to slap her so hard.

"You expect me to believe that?"

"I'm not lying." She cried 

After Leon left, she crouched down in pain until someone blindfolded her as if he was already in the room while Loen was lashing out on her.

All she remembered was being thrown in a closet and locked up after crying her eyes out.

Leon was furious.

There was no time for her to dress up and attend the event as soon as possible.

He removed his Jacket and threw it on her body, causing her to fall down.

"We are getting married and I don't care what you wear right now."

He raised his eyes to look at the maids and guards around him including his beta.

Except for the hatred towards her it could only mean that someone else doesn't want the marriage to hold.

"As for what happened to her earlier, you all better have some good explanation or I'll kill all of you in this room, Including you Brent!"
