Surviving my mate

    "Ah fuck." I said in a sharp breath.  The man behind me took my hair in his hands and continued thrusting harder.

    "You like that?" He growled.

    "Mmmm Elias shut the fuck up and fuck me." He grunted and kept fucking me hard.

    "I'm gonna cum Kaydence."I rolled my eyes of course.

    "I'm not fucking finnished yet Elias." I felt him grunt as the condom filled. I slid off his dick and looked at him. "Fucking ass I said I wasn't finnished yet."

    "I'm sorry Kaydence. Want me to eat you or something?" I shook my head and got off the bed.

    "No just go." I wrapped my bathrobe around me.

    "Want me to come back later?" I shook my head.

    "No Elias I told you this was a one time thing." I rolled my eyes at the man laying on my bed. Sure Elias was handsome but he was stupid.

    "Fine whatever." He got off the bed and pulled on his pants. He left my room and slammed the door shut. There was a knock on my door shortly after. I groaned and opened the door. My best friend Amelia stood there smiling at me.

    "I'd say good morning but it doesn't look like you enjoyed yourself much."

    "Ugh what was the first clue?" She shrugged.

    "Elias murming something bout you being a bitch." I chuckled.

    "He's just pissed because I didn't enjoy him as much as I do his brother." Amelia shook her head at me.

    "Your father would be dissapointed that your fucking your warriors you know that right?" I shrugged.

    "What my father thinks doesn't matter much considering hes dead Amelia." She handed me a cup of coffee.

    "Here drink your daily anti bitch juice and shut the fuck up so I can get you ready for today." I stuck my tougne out at her. but complied and sat at my vanity with my coffee.

    I was silent while I let Amelia work her magic and became lost in my thoughts. It had been a year since my mom and dad died in a really nasty car accident. Since I was their only child originally I was not going to become the Alpha after my father considering the fact I have a vagina and aparently that's not how things worked. But my whole pack and even my fathers beta and gamma fought for me to become their Alpha. After a while the council of elders had no choice but to accept me as the Alpha of the deepridge pack. Most of our allies were in a bit of an uproar over it but eventually came around to the idea of it. Of course if I ever took a mate he would take over as Alpha and I as Luna but I doubted that would happen. Mostly because I had rejected my mate on my eighteenth birthday.

    "There what do you think?" I studied myself in the mirror. Amelia had impressed me as always. My hair was half up, half down which allowed for my black hair to spill over my shoulders in a cute way. My makeup was light but made my crystal blue eyes stand out and look fierce. She had picked out a Lavender dress with a black dress coat that looked cute together with my black pumps.

    "Perfect as always Mels. Thanks babe." She smiled and nodded.

    "Your meeting with the beta and gamma is in an hour so you still have some free time." I nodded and she left me alone to get dressed for the day.

    Once in my office I flipped through some of the papers Amelia had left for me to look through with a fresh cup of coffee. Hiring her as my assistant was the best decision I had ever made. Well not really. Since taking over as the alpha of my pack a lot of things had been going well. My pack had grown a little in size for starters. My great, great, great, great grandfathers business was doing great and so was the small business that my mother had started when she was luna, well it couldn't be considered small anymore considering it now had five stores. I knew my parents would have been proud of me.

    "Alpha Kaydence?" A husky voice asked gently cracking the door. I hadn't even heard them knock.

    "Beta Lucas, Gamma Dirge come in. Sorry I was spaced out." I said with a smile. Lucas and Dirge had been my fathers Beta and Gamma and I had seen no reason to replace them.

   "It's alright Alpha." Lucas said taking a seat in one of the two chairs. Dirge seemed a bit hesitant but then sat down after a frew seconds of reconsidering.

    "What can I do for you gentlemen today?" I asked taking a sip of my coffee and putting the papers away.

    "Well Kaydence I turn fifty next month, I'm not exactly a young warrior anymore. True I can still fight and defend my pack but Dirge is turning fifty five next year. We just think that it may be time for you to pick new betas and gammas. We love working with you, you know that. You're like a neice to us but we think it's time we step down." I looked at them confused.

    "Very well, I understand. I just don't know who I would pick." I said contemplating it for a moment.

    "Well our sons..." I held up my hand.

    "Let me stop you right there Gamma. If you remember Elstan and I were a thing off and on from the time we were eleven until we were eighteen. Elstan is my rejected mate and you know why. I can not have him working with me. I appreciate the thought but I will pick my own Gamma and Beta until then I ask you two to please continue working for me." Dirge looked a little dissheartened. Was he hoping I would take back my rejection of the scum bag he called a son?

    "Very well Alpha." Lucas said.

    "Now gentlmen if that is all I have a video conference in about thirty minuets in regards to opening another store." They nodded and stood. "Oh if you see Amelia can you send her to me please." The nodded again as they exited my office. I sighed and looked at the picture of my parents next to my laptop.

    "Mom now is one of those times I could use some advice." There was a soft knock at the door. "Come in Amelia." My best friend came in and sat down across from me.

    "How did it go?" She asked.

    "Ugh. I understand they both want to retire as the Gamma and Beta and I respect that but the fact that Dirge suggested I make Elstan my Gamma almost made me vomit." Amelia scrunched up her face making her look almost like a mouse.

    "Yuck." She said crossing her legs and getting comfy in the chair.

    "My thoughts exactly Mels. I don't know. Got any ideas on who I should choose?" She thought about it for a minuet.

    "Why not chose my mate as your Gamma?" I looked at her. Her mate Kyle was a great guy, very loyal and smart. Kyle had also been my only other friend in school since Elstan and him had been friends he was the only non family member Elstan had let me be friendly towards. Kyle hated Elstan though and ended up becoming one of my closest friends.

    "Not a bad idea, I'll think about it and get back to you. He would make a good asset no lie." She giggled.

    "He has some nice assets." I rolled my eyes at my best friend.

    "I don't wanna hear about your sex life." She winked at me.

    "At least one of us is getting consistant dick." I groaned.

    "Listen you know why I couldn't accept Elstan as my mate." I say logging into my laptop. she nodded.

    "If you had I would of borrowed a frying pan and hit you with it until you were no longer stupid. That man put you through way to much pain and I'm sorry but once a hoe always a hoe." I raised an eye brow at my best friend.

    "Speaking from personal experience there?" She made a dick sucking gesture and we both laughed.

     "Hey I never said I wasn't bitch." She said with a shake of her head. She played with a blonde curl and was silent for a moment. I pulled up the database on all the warriors and wolves in my pack. I knew them all pretty well. Some better then others.

     "Penny for your thoughts?" I finally asked her after several minuets. She looked deep in thought.

    "Well what about making Emron the beta." I thought about it for a moment.

    "Not a bad suggestion. He's very maticulous and is great about getting everything and anything he is assigned to done."

    "Plus he's got some hands on fighting experience." Amelia said pointing a finger at me. I nodded in agreement.

    "Alright it's settled then. This saturday on the full moon I will announce Kyle as my Gamma and Emron as my beta. I knew I could count on you Mels." She smiled at me and waved a hand dramatically in the air.

    "All in a days work my mighty Alpha." I rolled my eyes.

    "Shut up bitch." I said smiling at her and taking another sip of coffee.

    "Eat me." I laughed. She stood up and stretched. "Well if that's all you need hoe I am gonna go find my mate so I can have someone who will eat me." I rolled my eyes and waved her away. She winked at me and left me alone. It was time to get some work done now and I had a lot to do before Saturday.
