I couldn’t tell if that was surprise or anxiety in his eyes, the moment his eyes gazed upon me standing right at the reception, He takes a step back and with a slow deliberation. His eyes fell upon me from head down to my toes, those inspections seems to have lasted for an hour, but it was probably just a second. The air between us became intense and even as I stood there unmoved, I could tell all eyes were fixed on us, I took one step forward about to close the gap between us but then I didn’t know how his reactions would be, he needed to take the first action or word if not I would end up embarrassing myself in front of all his staffs. Elena woke up very early the next day, she made some bacon and eggs for herself and Austin before going up to wash up. She wore a yellow peplum top, with a golden A- line on it neck, she could tell it expensive. She wore a black draped skirt. Looking at herself in the mirror, Elena tied her hair ponytail before applying a light makeup and pink lip gloss. She was feeling satisfied with her look, she wants to look professionally and that was what she was feeling.Arriving at the dinning table, Austin was already having a plate of bacon, she felt happy seeing him eat what she made.“ Good morning!” She greeted before taking the seat opposite his.“ Good morning Elena, how was your night?” Lucy who was standing there greeted.“ Am fine Lucy, what do you think of the breakfast I made?”“ I do think it was totally not necessary and now the boss is forced to shove in these poison into his mouth”
