Chapter Fifty-Three

Chase and Garry had to halt in front of the door as the domestic helpers who were leaving the room bowed to them.

They rushed into the room, a big smile etched on the Beta and the third in Command's face as their gaze held their best friend who was seated with a small frown on his face.

"Madam Dera!" The Alpha half yelled, the older woman only smiled at him as she continued to dish a lot of food for him.

His frown soon dissolved as his nose caught the scent of his best friends "Thank goddess you both are here." He said staring at his best friends standing before him "Please do join me." He said, pointing helplessly to the mountain of food before him.

"And why should we?" Garry asked, the smile on his face had dissolved, it was replaced with a blank expression.

"Garry-"

"The last time I checked, we meant nothing to you so why should we help you." The Beta said cutting the Alpha off, Kaiden sighed, he knew where this discussion was heading.
