CHAPTER 1: !!! STRANGE!!!

"Where have you found her?"

I asked my voice booming with great authority.

"We found her lying outside the clan territory."

Elias, one of my most trusted men said, informing me of the recent activities.

"Take her to the clan infirmary now!"

I ordered without any bit of hesitation, and he left with his men to carry out my others.

I sighed, this wasn't what I had actually wanted to hear that early morning.

It's so strange, a human at the clan. He hope he wasn't making any mistake of treating her while the thoughts of his brothers dubious character tugged in his mind.

Had they not tell him they found her tattered and she was weak before she finally lost consciousness.

Someone has reported the whole event to me earlier then.

To cap it all, she was a human unlike them they were all wolves either old or young. He was going to find his answers as soon as she wakes up.

As if the gods heard my prayers, one of the men whom had left Elias then came running to him telling him she had woken up.

Finally, it was time to get my answers. I headed in the same direction as him with him trailing behind me.

Harvey

I woke up with a throbbing headache, ouch! my head hurts, I move my hands and it landed on a soft surface that was when I became completely conscious of my environment. Firstly, I was on a bed. How on earth did I got here?

I clearly remembered all that happened but it still remains a mystery to me how I got here.

Oh there she is!

Is she really awake?

I heard voice not quite some metres from me and I raised my head as I had bowed my chin earlier then. I became constantly alert, they were four in total, wearing the same set of color, white.

I tried remembering how I ended up here from the forest to this but the more i tried remembering the more my head banged so hard. I hissed in pain.

I heard the door make a squeal sound and I took my gaze towards the direction of the door. It was a man who walked towards the direction of the four men who had just treated her, she noticed someone behind him while straining her eyes to see who was behind him. Damien felt someone staring through him, he glanced in the direction of the lady and found her straining her eyes to look behind him.

But immediately their eyes met, he was enchanted into her sapphire blue eyes, something burned within him. A sensational feeling flood through him.

His wolf calling out onto him to claim her there but thanks that he had self restraint, he quickly withdrew his eyes from hers.

Looking into those deep amber eyes, I could feel his eyes locked into mine as if searching for something in there, my stomach fluttered. The knots which had evolved as a result of my sense of insecurity vanish in an instant and I found myself immersed so deeply in those amber eyes of his but somehow he took his gaze away from me and with the look in his eyes one could tell he found something already but who was I to ask him.

This man here carried an air of authority and power here, she could see the way the men were nervous as they hung their head low.

He turn toward me and made to take a step when suddenly a guard rushed in whispering something into his ear, his expression changed immediately and I knew something was wrong.

My father had requested for my presence at the palace which was a few metres away from my clan, so I chose to walk instead and choose to go alone even Elias had insisted he had follow me but I persuaded him to wait that I had be back soon.

And the stranger, it's weird or moreover, it's all together weird. Why will the moon goddess had to pair me with a human? Is that a way of her punishing me for what I did a long time ago.

Definitely not!

She should have paired me with atleast an ordinary wolf will be better.

A human!,

He detest their presence alone.

He has once been to their room when he had gone to carried out some tasks for his father.

"Brother."

He felt a presence behind and he could feel it was Lucian firm his scent. He did not bother to reply, as he continued walking.

Someone blocked him, he growled.

Lucian.

"Out of my way brother!"

Damien ordered his facial expression turned serious.

"I deserve some respect being your first brother you know."

Lucian said, as he smirk inwardly.

Lucian was daring him. But he had no time for this, he immediately wished for him to stay rooted on the ground but it was just a wish.

He made to advance forward one more time when Lucian made to block his way then he discovered he couldn't move away from where he stood. Something had befall him, he couldn't fathom what had happened.

Steps could be heard faintly and that was Damien walking away without a care or knowledge of the world.

But there someone stood up there, watching what had transpired between them. She crease her forehead not getting a single grasp of what was happening.
