It was clear that we weren't starting school today because school was cancelled. Too many people were concerned about the safety of their children. That night I didn't get very much sleep at all. I was tossing and turning all night until I finally got up and I went downstairs to the kitchen to get a drink. That's where I bumped into Ivy. The whole walk back to the packhouse was quiet. No one talked but I was fully aware of how close Ivy and Asher were behind me. They were angry with me. I knew that they were angry with me. I should have told them the truth from the start but I didn't think I had any choice. I had to keep it to myself. Noah was in danger. Every morning Ivy was working me like a dog at training and Noah and I had also started going to school in the pack. We were meeting new kids from the area and it was good to have kids that we at least had something in common with. Noah made friends easier than I did, but at least he never left me alone or anything like that. His friends became my friends and I didn't really mind that. I always seemed to get along better with guys then with girls. And I could tell that a lot of girls were starting to hate me for it. But I didn't really care. It wasn't my fault that I wasn't a girly girl. I was actually surprised that she-wolves were like that. They cared too much about clothes and make up and all the same stuff that regular girls cared about. But that stuff never interested me. And I think it put them off a little bit. As soon as we got the news that we knew where Nick was staying then Ivy was right on top of me about getting control of my powers. We needed me to learn how to control my powers so I don't hurt the people around me and I only hurt the people I intend on hurting. " Now, with powers like this meditation is the key to being able to control what you are going to do." Ivy says. " I've never really been one to meditate." I say. " It's concentration. My life was compeltely different from what I knew it as. My days were spent with Ivy training with my powers and training how to fight. She was an awesome teacher and I'm glad that I got her instead of the warriors. She was tough on me but she wasn't insanely tough like the other instructors were on the trainees. Noah and I weren't seeing too much of each other. He was going to school and then working after school but we still managed to have dinner together at night and we tried to watch a movie or something to have a bit of time together. I've heard all the stories of her being kidnapped and going missing and even Asher. They were horrific stories to me and I couldn't do that to Noah. It only took about half an hour to run to the house while in wolf form because we cut through the woods and we were really fast. It was fun running in wolf form though. I loved it. But when the house came into sight I got a sinking feeling in my stomach. The house was huge. Almost like a mansion but luckily it had a huge yard, because there were other houses next to it. We didn't want civilians getting hurt. And no one said anything about evacuating civilians. So Asher wasn't going to tell the neighbours what was going on.
