.“I can’t believe we did that,” Roy couldn’t help but half-wail as Bryan led him to the private washroom between the public cabin and his office. He tried to take the small towel Bryan was holding but he shook his head.“Let me clean you up,” Bryan said softly.Roy squirmed, embarrassed, and touched at the same time at Bryan’s unexpectedly tender attention.“I love making you scream for me,” Bryan said, the satisfaction brimming in his voice more than audible. He straightened, tossing the wet towel into the laundry bin before opening the glass cabinet over the sink.When he closed it, Bryan had a pair of briefs packed and sealed in a silver foil bag. “I had this prepared in advance.”“Thanks,” He mumbled as he took the underwear.Even though Roy knew it was silly of him to ask, especially after what had happened between them, Misty swallowed and inquired, “Could you turn your back while I put this on?”Bryan grinned. “No.”Roy glared at him. “You’re having fun with this, aren’t you?”

Bryan inclined his head with a derisive smirk, “Of course, Father. Your wish has always been my command.” There was a hint of mockery in his tone that made Roy nervous.He would never have pegged Bryan to be the disrespectful type, but this was somewhat inevitable after the conversation he’d listened to between Bryan and his father.When the two walked away, the formerly warm smile on Darnell’s face was strained.She beckoned her sons to come forward, muttering, “Boys, why don’t you take dear Roy to the refreshments table? Roy’s mind was blank through the whole night and he had trouble sleeping. A sense of foreboding that’d enveloped him while he was with Bryan’s siblings failed to leave and even Hailey noticed but he couldn’t give an adequate explanation. The next morning, he went to the bathroom to have a quick shower and then took a taxi to Anderson Inc. in hopes of getting answers from Bryan as to why he was so quick to dismiss him without saying a word to him. But when he arrived at the company, the legal department of Anderson inc. was a mess, and everyone’s face was filled with trepidation. Fortunately, Kristine resumed today, and after Roy filled her in on everything that happened between him and Bryan—leaving out the sexual details, the Lycan part, and meeting his family. She gasped. When he dragged himself from bed in the morning, he had a murderous migraine that threatened to split his brain in half, but the oppressive sense of betrayal was gone.
