Roy’s mind was blank through the whole night and he had trouble sleeping. A sense of foreboding that’d enveloped him while he was with Bryan’s siblings failed to leave and even Hailey noticed but he couldn’t give an adequate explanation. The next morning, he went to the bathroom to have a quick shower and then took a taxi to Anderson Inc. in hopes of getting answers from Bryan as to why he was so quick to dismiss him without saying a word to him. But when he arrived at the company, the legal department of Anderson inc. was a mess, and everyone’s face was filled with trepidation. Fortunately, Kristine resumed today, and after Roy filled her in on everything that happened between him and Bryan—leaving out the sexual details, the Lycan part, and meeting his family. She gasped.
