Aurora's p.o.v

I was silently debating with myself whether to tell Amelia the truth or not. She looked happy and for the very first time in her life, her wish was coming true, our mate was willing to give us a chance in his life.

She was humming happily while rolling the dough on the wooden board.

Ian was still resting in our room and that was a huge relief to her because she wanted to surprise him with breakfast in bed.

"I want this to last forever." She whispered softly as a sad feeling washed over me. She quickly stopped what she was doing and stood upright.

"Aurora what is it?" She asked softly.

"It's nothing," I answered in a whisper.

"Come on, I know you are lying. Have you forgotten that I can feel what you feel?" She asked seriously.

I kept quiet for a few seconds thinking through what to tell her, as it was we really were in danger, it was just a matter of time before the Alpha king knew where we were.

"Can you take a seat?" I whispered calmly.

"Okay....."
