"Let's go on a run, Astrid." Ayla insisted for the tenth time today.

"Okay," I answered finally. I didn't want to go alone, fearing I would be kidnapped again, but Ayla was persistent. "I think I would ask Nyx to accompany us. It would be better since she knows the landscape better."

"Agreed. C’mon, let's go. Yay!" She exclaimed, performing a happy dance in my head.

I chuckled in amusement. "What are you laughing at, Miss Astrid?" Nyx interrupted, startling me as I chatted with Ayla.

With a happy smile, I answered, "I was talking to my wolf. Am I allowed to go on a run?" I asked curiously. Atlas's possessive nature was something.

"Huh, yes, I think."

“Good. Let’s go on a run. My wolf is in dire need of one.”

"Okay, Miss Astrid." She gave a light bow. I shook my head in exasperation.

“Nyx, I told you to call me Astrid.” She smiled sheepishly.

“Alright, Miss…..huh….Astrid.” She sounded awkward, but I didn’t mind.

"See, not so bad, huh? Come on, let's go." I stood up from my seat
