KACE’S POV

It was high time we put an end to all these things happening to us once and for all because I knew without any doubt, that all these things happening were connected to one person and so help me God the day we catch the person behind all this, I’ll kill that person myself, I thought to myself and stepped on the accelerator angrily, zooming off to Vin’s place.

I pulled up into Vin’s parking space after twenty minutes and rang the doorbell. The door opened immediately as though the person had been standing at the door and waiting for me.

“ What's up? How is Tess doing? Any good news regarding her health? “ Brandon asked immediately after I got into the house.

It was noon and really sunny outside, so when I got into the house, I loved it when the cold emitting from the air conditioning in the house touched my skin. It felt refreshing.

“ I don't know man, “ I said and slumped on the couch in Vin’s sitting room tiredly. It was only at this moment that I knew how exhausted I was.
