THE BILLIONAIRE ALPHA’S ACCIDENTAL BRIDE

“Awwwwwn…..Alex, you’re so sweet” Sophia said with puppy dog eyes, her hands covering her mouth in suprise as she stood beside him, watching how the car trunk opened to expose the gifts he has gotten for her.

Inside, the trunk was filled with presents— designer handbags, roses, a limited edition perfume she had been eyeing for months. They had been together for three years and he wanted to make this anniversary one she’d never forget. Well… that’s what she thought.

She threw her hands around him, “Alex… you didn’t have to do all this. You must have saved a lot of money to have gotten me all this”

“For you, I’d do anything and everything” he mumured pressing a kiss to her lips and then her forehead.

She smiled sheepishly, she loved and adored this man. She pulled away and he held her hand leading her to the passenger seat “come inside, let’s celebrate properly”

The car air smelt like lavender, she just sat there reminiscing on how lucky she had gotten at her shot at love. She scrolled through old pictures of them on her phone, giggling. This was the first time she had been in a relationship for up to three years and she got the best man. Well… that’s what she thought.

Alex had gone behind the car to get drinks and he took out two wine tumblers, he slipped a pill into one and filled it with wine, he went back and handed it to her dramatically, “sweet wine for my lady”

“How did I get so lucky?” She teased as she collected it from him, her eyes filled with admiration.

“You didn’t, I’m the lucky one. I don’t know what I’d be without you” Alex said, masking his evil plans with a smile.

“You always know how to make me feel so special” she said clinking her glass against his “To us”.

“To forever” he replied.” Trust me babe, tonight is going to be unforgettable”

They both took a sip, Alex watched her, smiling with contentment as the rich taste of the wine, spread through her taste buds. She widened her eyes “it’s sooooo good”.

“You like it?”, he asked with a small smile and raised eyebrows.

“Yes…yes I do” she said with sparkling eyes.

“Let me get you some more” he stepped out of the car and took the wine bottle from the trunk, he came back to her and they chatted for a while, laughing loudly and slowly, she started feeling heavy.

Few minutes passed, her laughter started to fade, her eyes blinking slower than before and her body became weak. She held her forehead “A-Alex… I feel a little dizzy” she murmured uncomfortably.

Alex leaned towards her “are you okay babe?” He said his eyes filled with fake concern. “Maybe it’s over excitement”

She tried to speak but the words didn’t leave her throat. Her head began to spin, her body was growing heavier with each passing second.

“Shhhhhh” Alex whispered, pushing her down slowly to rest on the chair.

Her world went dark. Alex rubbed his hands together, a wicked smile playing on his lips. “Let’s do this”

He started the engine and drove to a luxury hotel, he carried her out, the doorman barely spared him a glance, he was already so used to seeing rich men carrying their drunk wives into the hotel and it made it easier for Alex. He carried her into the elevator and to the 5th floor.

A woman waited in the hallway. she was older, probably in her mid fifties. She wore a hat that covered her face halfway, he only saw her red lips.

She was dressed in a fitted black dress and high heels. She exuded power.

“This her?” She asked, her voice cold. She looked at Sophia from up to down like she was a product.

Alex nodded, adjusting Sophia in his arms. “She’s perfect, I promise you won’t have any complaints”

The woman stepped closer, using her fingers to brush Sophia’s hair and gently raised her face to have a good look. “Pretty little thing. She’ll fetch a good price”

“That’s what I figured” Alex smirked. “You said if I bring a perfect one, you’ll double the price”

The woman reached into her bag, and brought out an envelope. “From 20 to 40 grands, as agreed” she said handing the envelope to Alex.

She snapped her fingers and two men appeared from the shadows and took her from Alex like a lifeless doll. “Sweet dreams babe” he murmured, stepping backwards.

They took her into a room and the door closed behind them, Alex walked away and never looked back.
