THE BILLIONAIRE'S CLAIM

"Is everything okay with you, girl?" Juliet peered inside the room staring directly at Skylar's restless face. She was busily typing something on the laptop.

"It has been hours since you said anything to me," she said as if they were good friends piping her tongue out indicating her lie. Juliet continues to stride in.

Skylar is not always like that, busy, quiet, and restless is not one of her possessive qualities. Even studying in the house Is not an option for her. She always makes sure to do all her studies in the school library before exiting the college building.

Sometimes her friends get jealous of her for her smartness. Skylar as her friends call her Sky is the grade one student in her class with a scholarship on her head.

Juliet logged beside her on the bed curiously and stretched her neck to see what was making her friend this busy. She seemed so focused on what she was doing." what is that for?" she knew Skylar needed money but if she had to help her decide, what she was about to do was a Pathetic mistake.

Pandora's clubhouse is no place for beautiful girls like her dear innocent Skylar. The club is one of the few famous nightclubs in town. If you ask her for a second name she would say ' WRECKERS CLUB' The most notorious beings in the town dwell there.

"a part-time job, of course" She shrugged and went back to her laptop. The scholarship allowance isn't enough to cover her daily living expenses."don't you think you are searching at the wrong place?" Juliet rolled her eyes.

Why was she even bothering herself with this freak? she scolded.

Both girls are friends but Juliet doesn't like her much. She sometimes talks to her because they are roommates. But apart from that, there is no other tangible reason for her to speak to her.

"what do mean?" she inquired in a low tone raising an eyebrow at her. When did working in a club become the wrong choice?

She shook her head at the later part. It is not her fault to say that. She has a family to support her. What good advice can a person like Juliet give her?

Her freaking head is empty when it comes to matters concerning work and stuff like that.

Juliet opened her mouth, she couldn't believe Skylar was this dumb to ask her such"If you may know, nightclubs are no place for people who play the game of innocence very well as you do" She twisted her mouth averting her haze from her.

Her reply made her roll her eyes. This girl is seriously bad at calculating human behavior. When did she play innocent? even if she did, she is." I don't think they only employ strippers and bed strikers" she rolled her and shifted her ass in a more comfortable position, as those are what she calls immoral acts.

Skylar is not dumped, she can tell when someone is speaking from experience. She has not even submitted her CV yet but her enemy friend is lecturing her like a kid.

Juliet closed her mouth to say something but the doorbell rang interrupting whatever she wanted to say." I will get it" she said as If expecting someone before Skylar could release her machine on the bed.

"I hope I get a job before this weekend" she rumored sloping her arms. It has been weeks since she started this job hunting thing but unfortunately, on her side, most of the available opportunities are full-time jobs which are uncountable on her ground. I mean how can she manage a full-time job and school hours"Really unmanageable" she whispered under her breath.

Juliet barged in with a different expression on her face. It was as if she had seen the unusual. " are you expecting anyone?" she asked"Never mind" she waved a hand"You have a visitor" she added. She wanted to scream in her face.

Skylar told them she has no family and now there is someone at the door claiming to be her father!

Does that mean she lied to them?

Skylar on the other hand was pondering on who this person might be, and how he or she managed to flip Juliet's mood like that.

Do you know one thing about Juliet?

She is a thick-headed person with a shitty attitude. No tongue can be sharper than hers. Skylar narrowed her eyes with a confused look "Did you say I have a visitor or you have...." Juliet cut her off "Your dad is here to see you" She raised an eyebrow crossing her hand on her full chest with this look of readiness on her face.

Skylar stared at Juliet in a daze. She gazed blankly at her before finally finding her voice. She blinked a few times "You mean my father?" she asked uncertainly. There is only one person, yes only one person who she called father in the past!!

She looked surprised somehow but not happy. What is wrong with this girl? is she finally losing her memories? or maybe there is something she is hiding? Juliet nodded, eyeing her in a suspected manner.

What the fuck does he want this time?

After all these years she has lived her life without any peace of mind because she refused to say the truth about what she saw that night. The night she lost to him! The night that took everything from her.

Fear, fear! fear of losing her life, the will to live made her agree to his terms and freed her pathetic self from his bloody grip.

Now, what does he want? has he come to take her life as he did to her mother and her brother" Are you fucking sure of what you are saying?!!" she screamed at her. Juliet can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

Fear dripped from her body. No no no!! this can't be happening,

"Are you okay Princess? is not good to keep a visitor waiting didn't you know that?" a different voice emerged from the doorway. She started trembling when her sight landed. on the familiar figure at the door frame. He was smiling at her!

The smile that hunted her day and night. The smile that refused to leave her and her dream.

The smile that made her lose all hope in life some years ago. That smile may look genuine and loving to others but certainly not to her! This man is evil, everything about him is wrecked by danger, evil, and diet. He is a Devil in human form. She thought.

"did you miss me, princess?" his smile broadened increasing the tension in the room.

Princess!!!!? Juliet flickered her gaze from Skylar to the old handsome man standing at the door. How can a poor girl like Skylar be called a Princess by this man who seems wealthy? huh!!. Juliet has lived together with Skylar for years and her hardship is no secret to her.

This man doesn't seem like a poor man. And if he is indeed her father, then why did she lie to them? She was certain that something was amiss.

The smile on his face is the total opposite of hers." I will leave you two" she smiled and started to the door.
