“I know, I know. He has done well so far though, plus it’s not like he’s selling his house, he can always go to one of them whenever he needs a breather,” she reasoned. But Brian frowned at her in disapproval.

“You should never drive a man crazy to the point that he will actually need a breather Emma. I know how you can be, you like it when things are done your way, and when things are done otherwise, you tend to make a fuss. We are so alike in so many ways, and I made the same mistake in my past relationships. I always find it hard to compromise for my partner, adjust, and every time it drove them out of my life whenever they’ve had enough. If he’s someone that you want around for a long time, then you have to make some changes.”
