The sound of birds chirping became clearer as I slowly opened my eyes, I stretched my hand searching for a as I opened my eyes. He wasn't lying beside me.

Slowly I rose from bed, scratching my eyes a bit disappointed that Mac wasn't in the room. I sat down watching the clock trying to figure out just for how long I had slept.
