After Millicent called the police, she was taken to the police station for her report, in the end, the police promised her that they will look for her friend.
Fifteen Years Later...
The wind blew on Margret's face, she stood before the airport with her luggage, and two extremely eye-catching boys stood side by side.
Some passerby took a sneak shot of her and her children, "mom, why are we still standing here, why ain't we moving our luggage?"
Margret regained her senses. She had disguised herself judiciously, and over the years, she has grown her music career strong and has become an A-list celebrity.
Even in her early thirties, she still looks like candy, and commands followers all over the world, she got a juicy offer from Houston from a renowned international company, so she decided to return home, and face her fear.
She exhaled in relief, before boarding the plane with her sons.
Nine hours later, the plane landed at Houston airport, the mother and son were leaving the airport when a convoy of cars sped past them.
Margret left them to retrieve some documents from the immigration officer standing some metres away from them.
"Caleb, do you think the owner of the car is our father?" one of the triplets inquired.
Caleb retorted "you should ask mom, why are you asking me such a silly question"
He shrugged his shoulder, Caleb's eyes darkened, he clenched his fists and looked at Celestine aggressively.
"What? are you going to beat me up for telling you what you should do?" Celestine sneered.
When Margret returned and saw their stance, her eyebrows knitted tightly "what are you two trying to do? hope you ain't planning to fight each other again!" she exclaimed massaging her forehead in frustration.
Her two sons humphed and looked away stubbornly from each other "now, Caleb, apologise to Celestine"
Celeb reposted "Mom, why will I do that? I am older than Celestine, he should be the one apologising to me"
Celestine sneered "what do you mean? I can never do wrong, who the hell told you, you are older than me, huh? I am taller than you, short boy"
Margret's head throbbed, she couldn't keep up with the boys bickering "fine, let's leave, people are staring at us"
"Of course, they have no choice but to stare, we are the most handsome boys in Houston City" Celestine bragged.
Margret rolled her eyes, and the three of them left the airport in a rented car, Margret bought a house while she was abroad.
Celestine and Caleb examined the house with a manly poise, one hand in their pockets and a condescending look at everything around them.
"Mom, why is this painter so dull, can't he use his head and know that it is improper to mix blue and white here?" Celestine asked with a frigid tone.
Caleb's face became cold the moment he saw a toy house "and what does this mean? is he planning to have babies with his wife? what is this toy house doing in the front yard?"
"I am going to score him zero for all the mess he has made in the designing and arrangement of the house, what a narrow-minded professional" Celestine snorted coldly.
Margret pursed her lips tightly, she looked at her children and wonder who their father is, the moment she remembered what their father did to her years ago, she instinctively clenched her fists and swear never to let him know about Celestine and Caleb.
"Mom, I am famished" Celestine whined, and gave Margret a puppy look.
"Alright, let's go inside and I will prepare dinner for all of us"
"Yeaaahhh! mom, is the best" the both of them yapped and jumped up excitedly, they have abandoned their usual cool pose and adult display.
The three of them managed to settle their luggage inside the house.
"Mom, why are there two beds here?" Caleb asked with arms akimbo.
Margret patted his head "you know your twin brother is afraid to sleep on his own"
"No way, I am not going to let him into my space!" Caleb snorted coldly.
Celestine sneered "who wants to stay in the same room with you? you snore very loudly, and you don't even know how to sleep properly, mom, I am going to my room"
Celestine turned around, and started walking away, Margret rubbed her forehead, the two were always bickering, and she knew that Celestine can't sleep all by himself.
"Celestine, are you sure you want to do this?" she inquired tentatively.
"Yes, mom" Celestine responded, and slammed the door shut behind him.
"Humph!" Caleb hummed and walked away.
Margret received a call, she quickly entered her room and dressed up, the moment she stepped out of her room, she saw two pairs of eyes giving her askance looks.
"Mom, you are leaving already? why don't you rest for a little, and then tomorrow you can start working?" Caleb asked tentatively.
"I wish to, son, but, I can't, this dinner party is very important to me"
"Go and have fun, mom" Celestine chimed in.
"Good boy, you guys shouldn't fight" Margret warned sternly, she gave them a goodbye kiss, before taking a car to the hotel venue.
The moment she arrived, a team of paparazzi rounded her up "international artist Bliss, it is a great opportunity to have you in Houston, do you have anything to say to your fans?"
A cold voice rang out "is that the way you welcome strangers in Houston?"
Margret was surprised, that the voice alone made all the paparazzi who swam her retreat to their shells, she turned around and saw a boy who look exactly like Caleb.
"Caleb!" she mumbled.
The boy of fifteen years frown deepened, his sharp eyes narrowed at the renowned celebrity Bliss, whose songs have been a comfort to him for years.
"You must be Bliss," he said coldly, Margret was too shocked to react, the frown on his face deepened "who are you?" Margret asked instinctively, she was shocked the boy look exactly like her son Caleb and they are both the same age.
The question made Charlie Jnr angrier, his frosty gaze lingering on Margret. Suddenly, a scream broke through the tense air: "Bliss!" Margret's attention was diverted from Charlie Jnr., and a small smile spread on her face. Right behind her, a group of people appeared, her manager, Klaus, leading them. "Bliss, why didn't you even call me before coming here? Am I still your manager?" Klaus asked, curling his lips into a frown. Despite being a male, Klaus was always dressed like a lady. Charlie Jr. watched Margret distractedly before he heard a whisper from his PA "Sir Charlie Jr, your father wants to see you." He averted his gaze while leaving with his entourage. By then, Margret was fully back to her senses and realized that Charlie had gone. At that moment, Klaus witnessed her puzzled expression. "Who are you looking for, Bliss?" Margret forced a weary smile and answered: "Nobody." She was too afraid to let the media get any hints about her children's existence. Klaus tried to
Margret stared at the man she had loved her entire life, the man she had given the presidency of Jing Entertainment, the man she had sacrificed her potential fame for, Daniel Scot, her ex-lover whom abandoned her the time she needed him the most. Margret sneered, "Daniel, why would I explain what happened fifteen years ago? Were you not the one who refused to listen to me then?" Daniel hung his head in shame, "I am sorry, Margret. I was young and stupid then. I want to listen now. Please, tell me what happened." Margret scoffed, realizing how foolish Daniel had been. "Why would I do that? It's been fifteen years, and I have moved on. Please, you should do the same." She turned away and began walking briskly when Daniel called out, "Wait..." Margret paused in her steps. "Don't you still love me?" Margret refused to turn around. "I no longer love you, Daniel. The love I had for you died fifteen years ago, and it's not coming back." Margret left, leaving Daniel standing there wi
Margret squinted her eyes in understanding as she realized why the woman was so frightened, her son was mistaken for Charlie Jnr from the night before. "Ma'am, this is not Charlie Jnr, this is my son," Margret said in a calming tone. The nerd middle-aged woman stiffly sat on her seat and quickly registered Caleb and Celestine with her full attention. "Where should I pay the fees?" Margret asked. The woman waved her hand and shook her head, "There is no need for that, this school owes a lot to your family." Margret hesitated, Celestine chimed in "mom, if she doesn't want the fee, there is no need to force her to accept, lets go, we will be late for our classes if we continue staying here" she agreed and finished the necessary paperwork. After waving goodbye to their teachers, she left the school. The moment she sat in her car and started the engine her phone rang. "Klaus, is anything the matter?" she asked, expecting the worse. The voice on the other line said, "Margret darlin
Margret extinguished the rebellious thought she was nursing.with a palpable sense of dread, she kept her head covered and endured the long car ride. The fleet of cars came to a halt in a magnificent mansion, "get out!" the man at the backside with Margret ordered coldly.Margret alighted from the car using her sharpened instincts by martial arts, because her sight was covered, she couldn't see the endearing beauty of the mansion.A man in his late sixties led two burly men wearing white suits out of the mansion, they met with Margret. The Butler of the White family bowed his head and said apologetically "sorry Miss Margret Owen, our protocol is very rigid that doesn't mean, you are not our distinguished guest."corners of Margret's lips twitched, the Butler didn't see the change in her facial expression because her face was covered."Come with me," the Butler said and motioned the two burly men wearing white suits to bring Margret along.Margret followed them into the magnificent man
Charlie Snr. furrowed his eyebrows in contemplation, his mind racing as he tried to remember any sons he knew who attended Garden High School. After a few moments, he finally turned to John and said in a demanding tone, "John, I need you to find out who the children are and how they are related to me. Do whatever it takes, but I need an answer by dusk. Is that clear?" John nodded his head and replied in a subdued but determined manner, "Yes, sir. I will work as quickly as I can." He bowed his head respectfully before turning and quickly leaving to fulfil the task. Charlie Snr. watched him leave and sighed, leaning back in his chair as he allowed himself to ponder the mystery. His eyes flickered with a faint glimmer of hope as he thought of the possibility of a new family member. ******* Margret arrived at Garden High School, the moment she stepped out of her car, she heard loud voices. To her surprise, her two sons, Caleb and Celestine, were running towards her. Margret smiled
Margret looked on in helplessness as Caleb stood in front of a little girl sitting beneath a tree. The teenager raised her head, squinting her eyes at the intruder's face, which was barely visible due to the bright sunlight.Caleb reached out and knocked the bread the girl was eating to the ground. The girl stared at the fallen bread with regret and sorrow. "Why are you eating spoiled bread? Why don't you go home and ask your mommy for food?" Caleb spoke to the girl with a smile.Tears welled up in the girl's eyes, and she cried, "That is the only food I've eaten for days. My mom is sick, and no one wants to employ me because I'm underage. A kind woman gave me the spoiled bread, and now you've thrown it away."Caleb frowned, realizing the situation was direr than he thought. He took a deep breath and said, "Here, take this." Caleb held out a wad of money, and the girl's eyes widened in shock.Margret called out to Caleb in concern, "Caleb, what are you doing over there? Who are you ta
Margret entered the coffee store with a disguised appearance and made her way directly to the only private room in the establishment. She knocked twice on the door, and a deep voice from within granted her permission to enter. Upon opening the door, she found a man with a stoic facial expression seated firmly in a chair. "You're here, Margaret. I ordered some coffee for us," he said to her. She politely declined, shaking her head and explaining that she had already consumed too much for the day and wouldn't be partaking in any more. Silver chuckled in response to Margret's rejection and quipped, "You're still wary of me, Margret. Why don't you trust me? We've known each other for years now, and you're like a sister to me." Margret forced a smile and replied in a perfunctory manner, "I'm not wary of you. I just have an upset stomach. Can we talk now?" Silver nodded, and his demeanour shifted drastically. Margret placed photos of Millicent Ferguson on the table. "I've been searchin
Celestine hailed a taxi and instructed the driver to take him to his home address. Upon arriving, he stepped out of the vehicle and saw Caleb emerging from the gate. Caleb's tone was accusatory as he confronted Celestine, "Why didn't you answer your phone? Mom was worried sick about you."In a haughty manner, Celestine retorted, "Why are you scolding me? I didn't even know it was you who called."Caleb rolled his eyes and turned to leave, saying, "I can't be bothered with you."Celestine immediately pulled out his phone and dialled his mother's number. "Mom, I'm home. Where did you go?"Margret's voice came through the phone's speaker, "Thank goodness! I'll be right back."After ending the call, Celestine walked into the house, oblivious to the fact that a girl was hiding and watching him.Caleb and Celestine were sitting in front of the television when Margret came back home. As soon as they saw her, they stood up and welcomed her with open arms, "Welcome, mommy!"Margret smiled brig
