Elena's POV.

“What have you done? What… What did you do to me?” My voice came out weak and shaky with sweat dripping down my body. My head throbbed with a bad ache as my body shivered uncontrollably.

The smugness on my best friend's face, Stella blurred into my vision along the blue light flickering in the room.

“Why are you acting so dramatic?” she said casually, sipping her drink.

“You… you spiked my drink…” My voice trembled.

My legs buckled, and I almost fell, but I quickly locked my fingers against the edge of the table.

“I'm only trying to help you,” She scoffed, and tears trickled down my eyes.

“How could you do…” I stammered as my chest tightened, with my throat burning painfully. I tapped my fingers on the table, searching for my phone, but ended up crashing the wine glasses against the floor, causing a loud noise.

“Relax, Elena. This will be over before you know it.” She whispered with a snare, making me feel worse.

My legs moved wobbly against the floor as I made my escape away from the party. I stumbled out aimlessly with tears trickling down my eyes.

Whatever was put in my drink was taking full effect, and I have no idea what might happen if I don't get out of here right now.

“Elena!” I heard Stella's voice call after me, but I didn’t wait. I tried running, but that was impossible as my eyes struggled to stay open.

I was able to make it out to the exit of the club, but before I could take any further steps, I collapsed on the floor.

“Stop fighting it and just surrender.” Stella's voice brushed past my ears, and I turned my head slowly towards her.

“Why!” My lips trembled as tears poured down my eyes. My mind spiralled with different thoughts and emotions hammering through me.

Stella has been my best friend for the past eight years, I can't seem to come up with a reason big enough to do this to me.

“She's ready! You can come have her.” Stella's voice interrupted my thoughts, and my body trembled in fear at her words.

“What are you doing, Stella?” I managed to say as my breath grew fainter with each passing minute.

“Let's just say, I've been wanting to do this for so long. It's so tiring pretending to like you, Elena. You make me sick!” She spat on me with a glare, and I shook to my bones.

“I've always hated you since we were in college. But I didn’t have a choice but to stick with you cause you were so useful. You did my assignment and stuff like that.” She chuckled mockingly.

“So I had no choice but to tolerate you. But now, it's time to put you in your place. Let's see if you will still be the high, mighty, and brilliant girl after these men are done with you.” She laughed wickedly with her eyes flashing with intense hatred at me.

I shook my head, wondering why I had not sensed it all these years, or maybe I was too blind to see it.

“Please…” I pleaded with her, but she shook her head.

“Too late, my dear friend.” She laughed, clicking her tongue against her teeth dramatically.

I parted my lips to speak, but the exit door of the club flung open before the words could make it out, and I saw through my blurry vision three hefty men marching towards me.

“No! No…” My voice trailed as I staggered back.

“Take her, and make sure to do exactly as we have planned,” Stella said, and my breath seized in that moment.

The men marched towards me with smug looks on their faces, and I drew back, crawling on the cold ground.

One of them launched at me and pulled me forward. Another one tugged at my dress, as all three of them exchanged glances and laughed.

“She's quite beautiful, Miss.” One of them grinned.

“Please! Please!! Let me go, don't!” I cried and pleaded, but they didn't stop.

“Help me please, help me!!” I cried bitterly, but they all kept laughing, including Stella in the background.

All of a sudden, a black SUV sped over from afar, and without thinking, I pulled my last strength and ran to the front of the car, panting heavily with my eyes shutting out.

“Help me! Help me…” I pleaded with my last breath.

“Why are you just standing there and doing nothing? Get her right now!” Stella yelled, and I tapped on the SUV loudly, hoping whoever was in there would come out and save me.

One of the men marched towards me and tried to grab my hair, but before he could reach me, the door to the SUV opened suddenly, and a tall, handsome figure stepped out of the car.

The air shifted instantly, with a dangerous aura filling the atmosphere.

He moved towards me swiftly and was in front of me in no time.

“Please help me, help me!” I begged, and he pulled me behind him, protecting me against the men.

“This is none of your business. Leave the girl to us.” One of the men snapped..

“Don't let him take me away, Sir.” I tugged at his shirt and begged him.

“On one condition,” he tilted his head backwards and finally said with a hoarse voice.

“I will do anything,” I responded desperately.

“Spend the night with me.” His voice descended with a tremble, and my eyes widened with shock.

“$10 million! Spend the night with me, and the money is yours.” He added, and I froze.

Silence hovered over the atmosphere with everyone frozen at the same spot they stood.

$10 million!

My mind drifted off as the doctor's words from this afternoon came flooding down my memory.

Your mother needs surgery right away, or she won't make it past tomorrow!!!

The words echoed in my subconscious as tears trickled down my cheek. I clenched my fist tightly and sniffed back the tears threatening to pour out.

I should not do this, but I'm left with no choice. My mother will die if I don't.

“Deal!” I agreed, and without hesitation, he dragged me and placed me in the car. He slammed the door shut and joined me in the car quickly.

“What the fuck!” Stella yelled and ran towards the car.

About an hour later, the hotel room door pushed open, and my back slammed against the white wall.

“Here's your check!” He scurried his hand through his pocket and pulled out a white paper, and placed it inside my dress pocket.

“I…” My voice disappeared as he slammed his lips on mine. My body vibrated with desire as my mind tried to process what was happening.

He wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer, as his fingers brushed my skin slightly. I trembled under his soft touch, and my body ached in response.

I wrapped my arms around him in total surrender and kissed him back with the same intensity.

We intertwined our lips together, devouring each other with reckless abandon.

“Mr…” I pulled back a little, gasping for breath.

“Please take it slow with me. It's my first time.” My breath hitched slightly.

“Whatever you say!” He whispered and pulled me closer again.

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNCLAIMED HEIR   A Familiar Reflection

Elena’s POVThe moment the elderly man stepped toward Lucas, my entire body reacted on instinct.I immediately pulled my son gently behind me, my fingers tightening protectively around his small shoulders as my pulse quickened inside my chest.I did not know these people, I did not understand their family dynamics. And after spending years protecting Lucas from unnecessary attention, judgment, and cruel remarks, my first reaction had been to shield him immediately.Especially in a room filled with wealthy strangers staring at us. But to my surprise, the old man did not look irritated, or offended. If anything, his entire face softened with warmth the closer he got to Lucas.“Well now! Who do we have here?” he muttered slowly, his sharp eyes fixed completely on my son. Lucas peeked out from behind me curiously, his little fingers clutching the side of my dress, and Dominic stepped forward calmly beside us.“Grandfather, this is Lucas,” he explained.“Lucas?” the elderly man repeated

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNCLAIMED HEIR   The Family Dinner

Dominic’s POVI stood near the bottom of the staircase with one hand tucked into my pocket while checking the time on my wristwatch again.Grandfather had already called me twice within the last thirty minutes. That alone told me tonight was going to be exhausting.I already knew Mabel must have gone to complain to him again. There was no other reason he would suddenly insist on a family dinner with that much urgency.A quiet sigh escaped my lips as I loosened the cuff of my sleeve slightly. The mansion remained unusually peaceful tonight.Mrs. Clara and the maids moved quietly through the hallways preparing dinner trays for the staff while soft piano music drifted faintly from the speakers downstairs. But my attention was elsewhere entirely.Upstairs!More specifically inside Elena’s room. The realization alone irritated me slightly.I had spent the entire day at work trying unsuccessfully to stop thinking about her.The way she spoke calmly, the way Nora responded to her, and the wa

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNCLAIMED HEIR   Family Pressure

Mabel’s POVThe following morning, I stood in front of the mirror adjusting the diamond earrings hanging from my ears while my mind replayed everything that happened the previous night over and over again. The humiliation still burned beneath my skin.Dominic had rejected me again. Not only that, he had done it so coldly, like my touch disgusted him. Like I was some stranger forcing myself into his space instead of the woman who had been engaged to him for the past five years. My fingers tightened around the edge of the vanity table as anger crawled through my chest. At first, I tolerated Dominic’s emotional distance because it did not matter much to me. I still had the mansion, the wealth, the influence, and the West family name attached to me. As long as I remained by Dominic’s side, everybody treated me like royalty, but now Elena had returned. And everything suddenly felt threatened. The way Dominic looked at her unsettled me deeply, and the way he defended her irritated me eve

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNCLAIMED HEIR   Rejected Again

Mabel’s POVThe moment I stepped fully into the living room, my eyes immediately landed on Dominic and Elena standing far too close to each other again. The sight alone made my chest tighten painfully.Lucas stood beside Elena while Dominic still held Nora comfortably in his arms, and somehow the four of them looked disturbingly natural together like a family. My fingers curled tightly beside me as unease crept deeper into my chest. At first, I thought Elena’s return was nothing more than an inconvenience. A temporary problem I could easily control the same way I always controlled everything around me.But now…Things were beginning to change too quickly. Dominic was paying attention to her, and that very dangerous. The closer he got to Elena, the higher the chances of him eventually discovering the truth about that night five years ago.My breathing became uneven at the thought. For years, I had survived because Dominic lacked solid proof. He suspected things sometimes, but suspicion

Mabel’s POVThe moment I stepped into my room, I slammed the door shut so hard the loud sound echoed across the walls. My chest rose and fell violently as anger burned through me uncontrollably. I yanked my heels off carelessly and flung them across the room before pacing back and forth on the marble floor with trembling fingers curled into fists.I could still see it clearly.Dominic standing there defending Elena right in front of me like my feelings meant absolutely nothing. The humiliation replayed inside my head repeatedly, making my stomach twist painfully with rage. For years, I had looked down on Elena because she was beneath me in every possible way. She was the poor, miserable girl nobody chose while I was the woman who got everything she ever wanted.Or at least, that was how things were supposed to be.But now somehow, after all these years, Elena had returned and suddenly Dominic could not stop paying attention to her.The way he looked at her irritated me. The way he l

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNCLAIMED HEIR   Waiting For Him

Elena’s POVI spent the entire day trying not to think about Dominic West. Unfortunately, my mind refused to cooperate with me.No matter how many times I tried redirecting my attention somewhere else, his face kept appearing in my head. The way he looked at me, the way his voice softened whenever he spoke about Nora, and even the way he defended me against Mabel at the dining table continued replaying in my mind over and over again. It was frustrating…I had only been in this mansion for a short while, yet somehow, this man already occupied far too many of my thoughts.I adjusted the files in my hand and exhaled slowly as I stepped out of the children’s therapy room. I had spent most of the afternoon consulting Nora’s doctors, reviewing her medical records, emotional evaluations, educational reports, and previous therapy notes. The more I learned about the little girl, the heavier my heart became.Nora had been through years of emotional neglect masked as professional treatment. Elena’s POVThe mansion was silent by the time I finally retired to my room. The events from dinner replayed endlessly in my mind as I changed into my silk nightgown and slipped beneath the sheets beside Lucas. My son had long fallen asleep, sprawled across the bed with one arm wrapped around his s

Dominic’s POV“Dominic!” Mabel yelled my name as she trembled in anger, but the words already left my mouth, and shockingly, I don't feel a bit remorseful. “Are you really kicking me out?” Her voice shook and I glanced up to look at her. Her eyes flickered with so much anger, and she dashed out.T
