Dominic's POV

My eyes opened to the most hammering headache I have ever felt in my entire existence. My head throbbed, and I forced myself to sit up as I searched for my phone.

The morning sun pierced through the black curtains, and the car honks from the road echoed through the room.

What the hell happened last night…?

I stared at the dishevelled room, unable to register anything for a while until my eyes caught sight of the bloodstain on the bed.

Blood!

My brows furrowed deeply. And suddenly, it all came rushing back.

A shinning object on the floor caught my attention and I lowered myself to the ground to pick it up.

“A earing!” I muttered to myself and clamped my hand around it. The female scent emanating from it joggled my mind, sending all the memories flushing through me.

I remembered attending the business summit gala last night, only to be drugged. I fled the gala and came across the strange girl who begged me to save her.

I did, and we ended up in bed together.

“Impossible!” I shook my head as the memories came running down one after the other.

I glanced up at the bloody bedsheet, confirming the reality of what had taken place here last night.

“But….” My voice trembled.

Ten years!

For ten whole years, no woman had been able to get close to me. Not without triggering it. The disgust, rejection, and the unbearable reaction my body had toward them.

Doctors called it psychological, some called it trauma, but none of them could fix it.

Until last night!

“Who the hell are you…?” My jaw clenched.

But now….

This woman showed up and cured me without even trying.

“I must find her!” I breathed.

I grabbed my phone and quickly made a call.

“Dennis! Where are you?” My voice was firm.

“Mr CEO, I've been looking everywhere for you. Mr. Chairman has requested your presence.” My assistant trembled over the phone.

“The woman I spent the night with…” I swallowed.

“Find her, I don’t care how.” I said coldly into the phone.

Three weeks later, the car came to a smooth stop in front of a big building. I stepped out, adjusting my cuffs as my eyes scanned the surroundings.

She lived here?

“We tracked the earring to this address, sir,” Dennis said carefully.

“Good!” My grip tightened slightly, as my curiosity heightened knowing I was about to find her.

The door opened after a few knocks, and a provocative looking middle-aged woman stood there, her eyes widening instantly the moment she saw me.

Recognition!

Of course she knew who I was.

“Mr. Dominic…?” she stammered.

I didn’t waste time, I pulled out the earring.

“Who does this belong to?” My voice was firm.

Her eyes flickered briefly, just for a second, but I caught it.

“Mom who is that? Why are you even answering the door yourself, where are the helps?” I heard another voice.

Behind her, a younger woman stepped forward. Immediate she saw me, she staggered backward with her mouth dropped open.

“Oh my goodness! Mom! It's Mr West!” Her voice laced with excitement and she almost screamed.

“Please come inside, Mr West. We are so honoured to have you…” The woman was starting to say.

“You are yet to answer my question. Who is the owner of this earring?” I asked again.

The girl's gaze locked onto the earring, and something strange passed through her expression.

“What’s going on here?” A man’s voice cut in sharply as he walked into the living room.

His eyes moved from me to Dennis, then back to me again.

“Mr West!” His breath hitched and he looked like he had seen a ghost.

“That earring!” The girl said, and my gaze shifted towards her. She seemed to know something about it as she squinted her eyes towards it.

“Mr West is looking for the owner of this earring.” The woman said to the man, and he looked back at me.

“That foolish girl! I'm sure she must have gotten herself in some trouble. What the hell did she do this time?” The man's brows furrowed with anger.

“Well….” My voice trailed.

“Why are you looking for my daughter, Mr West? Please tell me what she has done.”

“I spent a night with her. And I have been looking for her the past three weeks. I traced her here using this.” I held his gaze calmly, raising the earring up in the air.

“What!” the woman suddenly exclaimed.

“Mom!” The girl tugged at her mother with a sad expression, and I could tell something was not right.

“That earring… it belongs to my daughter.” The woman suddenly said, forcing a laugh.

“Mabel,” she added quickly, pulling the girl forward.

“She must be the one you’re looking for.” She added with a wide smile.

“I… I didn’t think you would come looking for me,” The girl lowered her gaze shyly and said softly.

“I'm so glad you came, it was my first time and I was so scared.” Mabel said and immediately threw herself in my arms.

I froze and instantly felt irritated by her touch.

What the hell is happening?

She feels and smells nothing like the woman I spent the night with.

Something about this felt off, but the evidence was something I couldn’t deny.

“Are you sure you are the girl I spent the night with?” I quickly asked her, and she nodded her head.

“Yes, I'm the one. I suddenly misplaced my earrings and didn't think too much of it.” She answered.

“You can be rest assured, Mr. West. Mabel is the only daughter I have, and since you were able to trace the earrings here, then that can only mean she's the one you are looking for.” The man explained.

I looked back at Dennis for a confirmation of that piece of information.

“Yes, Mr. CEO. There's only a child registered under this family, and that is Mabel Hart.” Dennis confirmed, and I nodded my head.

“Get ready, you’re coming with me.” I said coldly and pushed her away from me. Her eyes widened with excitement at my words, and she looked at her mother.

“One more thing you should know, Mr West.” She said, and I tilted my head back to look at her.

“What is that?” I asked her.

“I'm pregnant with your child!” Her voice echoed in my ears.

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNCLAIMED HEIR   A Familiar Reflection

Elena’s POVThe moment the elderly man stepped toward Lucas, my entire body reacted on instinct.I immediately pulled my son gently behind me, my fingers tightening protectively around his small shoulders as my pulse quickened inside my chest.I did not know these people, I did not understand their family dynamics. And after spending years protecting Lucas from unnecessary attention, judgment, and cruel remarks, my first reaction had been to shield him immediately.Especially in a room filled with wealthy strangers staring at us. But to my surprise, the old man did not look irritated, or offended. If anything, his entire face softened with warmth the closer he got to Lucas.“Well now! Who do we have here?” he muttered slowly, his sharp eyes fixed completely on my son. Lucas peeked out from behind me curiously, his little fingers clutching the side of my dress, and Dominic stepped forward calmly beside us.“Grandfather, this is Lucas,” he explained.“Lucas?” the elderly man repeated

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNCLAIMED HEIR   The Family Dinner

Dominic’s POVI stood near the bottom of the staircase with one hand tucked into my pocket while checking the time on my wristwatch again.Grandfather had already called me twice within the last thirty minutes. That alone told me tonight was going to be exhausting.I already knew Mabel must have gone to complain to him again. There was no other reason he would suddenly insist on a family dinner with that much urgency.A quiet sigh escaped my lips as I loosened the cuff of my sleeve slightly. The mansion remained unusually peaceful tonight.Mrs. Clara and the maids moved quietly through the hallways preparing dinner trays for the staff while soft piano music drifted faintly from the speakers downstairs. But my attention was elsewhere entirely.Upstairs!More specifically inside Elena’s room. The realization alone irritated me slightly.I had spent the entire day at work trying unsuccessfully to stop thinking about her.The way she spoke calmly, the way Nora responded to her, and the wa

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNCLAIMED HEIR   Family Pressure

Mabel’s POVThe following morning, I stood in front of the mirror adjusting the diamond earrings hanging from my ears while my mind replayed everything that happened the previous night over and over again. The humiliation still burned beneath my skin.Dominic had rejected me again. Not only that, he had done it so coldly, like my touch disgusted him. Like I was some stranger forcing myself into his space instead of the woman who had been engaged to him for the past five years. My fingers tightened around the edge of the vanity table as anger crawled through my chest. At first, I tolerated Dominic’s emotional distance because it did not matter much to me. I still had the mansion, the wealth, the influence, and the West family name attached to me. As long as I remained by Dominic’s side, everybody treated me like royalty, but now Elena had returned. And everything suddenly felt threatened. The way Dominic looked at her unsettled me deeply, and the way he defended her irritated me eve

  • THE BILLIONAIRE'S UNCLAIMED HEIR   Rejected Again

Mabel’s POVThe moment I stepped fully into the living room, my eyes immediately landed on Dominic and Elena standing far too close to each other again. The sight alone made my chest tighten painfully.Lucas stood beside Elena while Dominic still held Nora comfortably in his arms, and somehow the four of them looked disturbingly natural together like a family. My fingers curled tightly beside me as unease crept deeper into my chest. At first, I thought Elena’s return was nothing more than an inconvenience. A temporary problem I could easily control the same way I always controlled everything around me.But now…Things were beginning to change too quickly. Dominic was paying attention to her, and that very dangerous. The closer he got to Elena, the higher the chances of him eventually discovering the truth about that night five years ago.My breathing became uneven at the thought. For years, I had survived because Dominic lacked solid proof. He suspected things sometimes, but suspicion

Mabel’s POVThe moment I stepped into my room, I slammed the door shut so hard the loud sound echoed across the walls. My chest rose and fell violently as anger burned through me uncontrollably. I yanked my heels off carelessly and flung them across the room before pacing back and forth on the marble floor with trembling fingers curled into fists.I could still see it clearly.Dominic standing there defending Elena right in front of me like my feelings meant absolutely nothing. The humiliation replayed inside my head repeatedly, making my stomach twist painfully with rage. For years, I had looked down on Elena because she was beneath me in every possible way. She was the poor, miserable girl nobody chose while I was the woman who got everything she ever wanted.Or at least, that was how things were supposed to be.But now somehow, after all these years, Elena had returned and suddenly Dominic could not stop paying attention to her.The way he looked at her irritated me. Elena’s POVI spent the entire day trying not to think about Dominic West. Unfortunately, my mind refused to cooperate with me.No matter how many times I tried redirecting my attention somewhere else, his face kept appearing in my head. The way he looked at me, the way his voice softened whenever he spoke about Nora, and even the way he defended me against Mabel at the dining table continued replaying in my mind over and over again. It was frustrating…I had only been in this mansion for a short while, yet somehow, this man already occupied far too many of my thoughts.I adjusted the files in my hand and exhaled slowly as I stepped out of the children’s therapy room. I had spent most of the afternoon consulting Nora’s doctors, reviewing her medical records, emotional evaluations, educational reports, and previous therapy notes. The more I learned about the little girl, the heavier my heart became.Nora had been through years of emotional neglect masked as professional treatment. Dominic’s POV“Dominic!” Mabel yelled my name as she trembled in anger, but the words already left my mouth, and shockingly, I don't feel a bit remorseful. “Are you really kicking me out?” Her voice shook and I glanced up to look at her.
